I have an uncle/workshop owner who has been in car industry for 20+ years. His advice is as all cars are made out of various parts, should let the car "run-in" for better longetivity. He had to repair some less than a year car's suspension, brakes, engine or gear parts due to the owners were too aggresive in their driving upon receiving the cars.
He would recommend 3 things before the new car reaches 1-2k km:
1. Rev your car gradually. Do not overspeed (110kmh++)
2. Slowly go thru pot holes and bumps
3. No aggresive braking unless emergency.
Gradually, engine and gear response, suspension feel, braking feel will have more immediate feel and bite.
