I have an uncle/workshop owner who has been in car industry for 20+ years. His advice is as all cars are made out of various parts, should let the car "run-in" for better longetivity. He had to repair some less than a year car's suspension, brakes, engine or gear parts due to the owners were too aggresive in their driving upon receiving the cars.

He would recommend 3 things before the new car reaches 1-2k km:
1. Rev your car gradually. Do not overspeed (110kmh++)
2. Slowly go thru pot holes and bumps
3. No aggresive braking unless emergency.

Gradually, engine and gear response, suspension feel, braking feel will have more immediate feel and bite.

You might lose suspension warranty. I had mine replace due to leak and they stipulate that if change to sport rim, u void.

Changing tyres to different size (175/65/15 to 185 or 195) outside of authorized service center will void suspension/drivetrain warranty?

If gonna be stuck in a jam everyday, FC not affected.
If flying highway 100km/h+ everyday, ok lah. Still quite negligible. Better to dump the spare tyre, seal the front bonnet gaps, change lighter weight and eco-design rims, lower the car, dump the passenger headrests, fold the side mirrors/change to Spoon. laugh.gif

Chill bro. Some people use sunvisor so that they can lower the windows during hot days. Somemore those slimline Venttec type are quite aerodynamic. icon_rolleyes.gif

That vent is for cabin air go into battery compartment to cool it. What you hear is air from cabin going into that area, not outside air going into the car.
