Did you perhaps touched your bulb with your hands when changing? I've heard to use gloves/cloth to increase the lifespan of the bulb.

during reverse, when you turn the steering, the line assist on the HU will follow the steering as well.

I cant tell all the different, but pre-fl v spec HU definitely has more function compared to fl HU.

I am planning for a project to change the crappy HU to a Sony xav-ax200. The cig socket infront ill be swapping out as a usb input instead - easier for me to connect my phone and use android auto.

Now, im planning to do all these on my own, possibly will document down the steps with pics; with that said is there any other resources that i might need?

I am worried about the steering wheel control function, but xav-ax200 have a built in features to assign specific functions for specific button presses.

For those who changed their HU, will there be a steps where I might need some diy along the way?

Been seeing a lot of recommendation to go for Michelin Energy XM2 but when i called to rabbit tyre shop asked for Honda City 185/60/15R, the guy there recommend me to go for 195/55/15R and instead of Michelin, he ask me to go for firestone / bridgestone (much cheaper)...  i'm confuse now, shud listen to the tyre shop guy or how ?

Hey guy, quick check ...jus had my 40k service this morning and I notice they r charging labour fee x2 units... checking wit the service advisor and they tell me that thud is charge by the service hour... meaning they service my car for approximately 2 hours so they charge me RM75 x 2 = RM150.
Is this the standard practice across all Honda service center ?
