Anyone using storage heater? Quite popular in SG
I think it's a hassle that you need to turn the switch on 30mins before showering

Besides that anyone actually uses gas heater in Malaysia?

*I rarely use heater/aircond but it's good to have them installed and ready to use lol

Btw is Gas Malaysia available in Shah Alam?

And the bodoness I just read(read attachment)

Lel Bodo.

Instant water heater now got thermostat la.

And if water pressure is too low to trigger the pump or heater, you have a bigger problem to solve

I am using Joven 25L storage heater (10 year warranty). I like it compare to instant water heater, pressure is good for rain shower and bathtub.

There’s no need to wait 30mins. Only the first time you using it after that no need to wait cause the water stored is still hot

Storage heater I think very very less chance as you hear them before using and turn off when you actually want to shower

Instant heaters are very safe with ELCB and earth leakage indicator

Been using this as well for 7 year +, screw up once when the tank is empty and i switch it on, thermostat kong and damage is 100+

And you dont need to wait 30min rclxub.gif , 3 min ... maybe.

Anyway I love cold shower even on rainy day, the heater is only use by the home minister.

The only advantage for gas water heater with tank is cost saving in sg

Meanwhile in countries with winter, the tank supplies to all water taps and it is always on laugh.gif

not solar power it is the water chnner up to the vacuum tube , then the sun shine on the tube on roof become heated water, the tank there is for when there are no sun raining all the day, at night u need hot water then u can turn on the heater switch to heat the water using electric, so the solar water heater are actually "Hybrid " water heater , use either solar or electric.
*
Yeah I think this is the thing they explained to me.

Not actually electric, but solar heating onto the water.

The thing is does it actually work?

Sun heating water over small area. Doesn't seem sensible

they use special vacuum tube to get the sun light so the water flow between , the water can boil eggs at sunny afternoon
one disadvantages is the solar water heater system must install before move in after move in it is difficult need to hack the wall to lay water piping down to all water tap point
*
Then vacuum tube need power?

You do not need to heat every time you turn of the water to take shower, storage heater have storage of 25/30/50L.
