QUOTE(Zot @ Sep 21 2017, 08:38 PM) Easy not like last time. Now software do it for you. Read and make sure same model. Try google for video on same model That is the problem.I went and google and got myself confused. Some website/blogger mentioned a bunch of software - bootloader,TWRP,SuperSU and etc. The steps seem complicated and warning of bricking. And these fellows are talking about rooting P10 not an older phone. Have you root P10 or your friends had done it? I cannot afford to brick my P10. |

Spend more time on rooting p10 guides. If you still don't understand what you are doing then don't risk bricking your phone

QUOTE(kllonely1 @ Sep 21 2017, 09:41 PM) That is the problem. Ask yourself first. Why you need to root? Is it really necessary?I went and google and got myself confused. There are many methods on how to root the phone. The TWRP, boot loader used to be hard but now simpler. I found Kingo Root and think maybe the first one that came out with something just click and wait until it finish. It even able to unroot and restore it to new condition as if it was never rooted before. It has a list of phone that has been tested. However, anything has risk. So, ask yourself if you want to risk it. I've never owned any Huawei, so never tried it before. Some phone need to be unlock to be able to access boot area and some phone are open like Samsung. I knew Oppo and HTC are troublesome. |
