I purchased my house about 10 years back, last I check you can withdraw the whole amount in your 2nd EPF account.

Based on this article from KWSP which is last updated in March 2017

For a 100% housing loan, you can withdraw 10% of the house value or ALL the amount you have in your 2nd EPF account.

Salah faham ni.

The pdf attached above is correct lah.

Anyway no way you can take away money from Account 1, it's always Account 2 and Account 2 only.

The money will be withdrawn from account 2 for sure, but if i take percentage from account 2 it will be 30% which i dunno where this percentage comes from too.

And that article clearly said the eligible amount is ALL from account 2, but in actual they only give me 30% of acc 2 or 10% from the overall account 1+2.

Whichever is lower..

If the whole amount in your 2nd account lower than 20% of your Purchase Price, so you get all.. remember u get 20% if your MOF is 90%, but if your MOF 100% you entitle to 10% only..

"Amaun Yang Layak Dikeluarkan (Megikut MANA YANG LEBIH RENDAH tidak kurang RM500.00)"

That line written above the table in the EPF Brochure here

Supposedly they no need to mention can withdraw all from account 2, me also need to read few times to understand.. Usually amount in account 2 lower than withdrawal eligibility amount, maybe that is why they say like that..

Withdrawal eligibility amount is still depends on your Purchase Price, 20% if MOF 90% and 10% if MOF 100%..
