Not exactly ideal, but at least something.

Bear in mind that they are staffed mostly by volunteers,
some of whom are just school leavers/part timers with poor
general knowledge, let alone psychology.

I also don't really like the way they are instructed or trained
to handle callers.

They will tend to reply when you ask them a question or their
opinion on some issue - "It's not what I think - it's how you feel".

They are taught to being impartial so as not to implicate
any liability on themselves, but that is a very silly way, and
defeats the purpose of setting up such a sensitive helpline in
the first place.
