Guys I hope this is not a noob question, i read the FAQ and everything else on top but have some difficulty putting it all together, would greatly appreaciate ur help in buying a console. I wanna get a 360 but what i should get if i wanna play LIVE (modded or unmodded) im willing to buy original as long as it is worth it. I play mostly racing games, how can i contact seller in here like Djinn, and lastly how much does a 360 premium(unmodded) cost. I have a budget of 1.4k. Please reply Thank you

even then an xbox 360 can only go as high as 1600...

i would suggest you to drop by gamers hideout at cineleisure and have a talk with them imm sure they can talk and convince u well

I wanna take the unmodded cause if kena 3rod can use warranty(cannot afford new wan). Does the new version get hit by 3rod. Im excited bout the xbox Live gaming, my area net is pretty fast(hulu skit).

a word of advise when buying 360... you need to ask about the warranty and how it works if your new 360 got that deadly 3ROD within the first year (12months).

some shops in sg wang are "twisting" about the warranty issue after you send back your 360 back to them for warranty purposes. even 2 of the shops in imbi plaza also playing with this socalled "twisting" trick.

so conclusion... get your new 360 from djinn or bernard moh

yup i've finished playing TDU in 360 already very nice game and the best part can do rempit-ing with your friends on LIVE!

ABout that region lock thing...there is a region lock in place....only those that are region free or region coded to Asia...but nearly alot games on the market are region free....if not there is an Asian region coded version of the game....

And unfortunately no one is playing TDU anymore....but font give up hope a game called Forza will satisfy your racing thirst...if Forza aint your thing TDU still has some players in Singapore.....if you ask nicely on the TDU thread(its somewhere here.... )you can get a few guys on LYN to play with you..

thanks guys i can ask them i've seen Forza motorsport pretty awesome game, R u guys playing it? im probably getting my box at the end of the month(bonus kluar) will u guys be playing till then? Maybe the TDU ill play offline cause i wanna ride the expensive cars(lamborghini's)

try PGR3 if u wanna play LIVE with us...TDU nice but somehow not many of us like to play LIVE hmmm ...

Trust me.....Forza will have online players from LYN....myself included.....see you online soon....

As for TDU....its a great single player game just dont be shy to go online once in a while...but be warned or streamyx is not as fast internationally as it is local...

Where is Gamers hideout situated? i dunno bout the shop till now? Djinn have replied to me saying that only the holiday pack is available right now which is clearly over the budget for me? Anyway i have time till end of the month so might as well i check out the other shops, please give recommendation where i should visit?

Gamer's Hideout is situated in Cathay Cineleisure... well, most 360 consoles are over RM 1400+... and it's worth it. For me, spending RM 1600+ on my bundle is really worth it.

Forza Motorsport... the only TRUE racing game... well, maybe Flatout - Ultimate Carnage maybe the next Burnout for 360... still, Forza 2 will be the one everyone's playing...

gamers hideout is in cineleisure, that cute colorful building beside the curve.

try pm bro bernard moh then. i would not suggest you try buying from other shops especially those from sg wang. trust me when it comes 3ROD it will make a hell big lot of differences!

yeah Djiin place i think is a little tad more than others but worth it...
3ROD you can exchange 1 to 1 within the first 3 months...

BTW the holiday pack is more worth it as you get 2 controllers and 2 games more for about RM200 more only...
FYI 1 wireless controller cost about RM150 already.... so get the Holiday Pack
