TTWANGSA,
It is unacceptable and ridiculous that your boss (x-boss) doesnt approve your claim! Gila meh...RM20+petrol+toll everyday = big sum..you shouldnt bear this cost. What is his excuse/explanation? Added on June 4, 2008, 11:05 am QUOTE(jeerie @ May 29 2008, 12:37 PM) when they said it is for security reasons and things like that, yet, they r ppl who still have full access to any websites they want...it is contradicting and not making sense. I never see this issue in other consultancy firms. My frens in Accenture, IBM, ISS, EY, KPMG all laugh at me when I told them I am not allowed to check my gmail and msn messenger and most important thing of all, I got no laptop! I am so embarrased. When everyone is moving forward, I am moving backward..'zaman batu'..still using desktop...oh my god! This post has been edited by WASD: Jun 4 2008, 11:05 AM |

QUOTE(ttwangsa @ Jun 4 2008, 12:53 PM) i think some companies have that policy if you are on site, then that site becomes you new base so going to the site, you cannot claim. some company, you can claim if you go to site. in satyam, if you go for seminar and training, you can claim but if your site is klcc, then you have to go there everyday and bear the cost. i should have asked this during the interview. i am partly to be blamed for this. after i resigned, every company i went to for an interview, i will ask the claim to site question some just smile and say "of course can" some say cannot. it depends on company policy. They wont include that in the appointment letter for sure. So far, all my pals that are onsite get the claims. As long as you have the manager's approval, you definitely can claim. Don't worry.
If really cannot, let me know. I'll organise a MOGOK!! LOL...joking only. |

QUOTE(dhydrated @ Jun 10 2008, 09:14 PM) There's a plan to include all the RM300 conveyance claim into associate's monthly salary, no matter where you've travelled. Jialat like that. I have never witness any consulting firm doing this before, normally the consultants are paid by mileage claims. It is really UNPROFESSIONAL if Satyam going to implement it. Added on June 11, 2008, 1:43 am QUOTE(Chan82 @ Jun 10 2008, 10:38 PM) I am not an associatelu... Anyway, thanks for the previous replies. I did ask them to change the appointment letter but HR said it was standard...let's see how it goes lu.. This post has been edited by WASD: Jun 11 2008, 01:43 AM |

QUOTE(dhydrated @ Jun 12 2008, 02:36 PM) For those who stays quite a distance from Cyberjaya, like me, must not favor this move, since RM300 doesn't even pay half of what I'm spending on fuel monthly RM300 covers 80% on my fuel usage monthly..but exclude TOLL. Pity you a lot compare mine. Actually I was planning to replace my MYVI to 2nd hand Honda Civic, but in view of this petrol turmoil, Maybe I'll use this money to modify my MYVI...change muffler ekzos..add fuel saving stuff...change damn good tyres...tune the engine...etc. |
