QUOTE(LightEnchanter @ May 1 2007, 09:00 PM) there are 3 processes of the interview: is it really that bad? 1) IQ test, basically just some simple maths 2) group discussion, they'll give you a question , then u discuss among the candidates(e.g: Is Msia truly Asia?) 3)Interview by some technical guy 4)Interview again by boss I'm currently working in this company, being honest with you , if you have another option , go for it. It isn't as good as you thought or as what they've claimed. They do not have much projects pending, in fact they are a lot of us still sitting on the bench doing nothing, wasting time..... The turn over rate in this company is very very very high , one month at least few ppl cabut , im leaving soon. The HR doesnt care much about your welfare and benefits, they just want you to work work work and work. If you are looking for a job as Software Engineer/Developer(either Java or .NET), this company is not a good choice , in fact they are expanding their datawarehousing team, for development team ....you join and you sit, cause no project as what i've mentioned just now. One thing good about this company is high pay , they will offer you at a range above average, but no bonus, no OT and yearly increment is very very little. You calculate yourself la .... Another thing is they provide freshgrads with 3 months of training, this include data structures, j2ee, sql, presentation skills and bla bla bla. My suggestion to anyone that is planning to join this company, you can take the course for first 3 months, then leave ...cause the course is quite beneficial. That's all i have to say , i'm strongly advise you all to join other company. However, it's your decision............ btw, did u get paid during the training? QUOTE(oioi82ng @ May 16 2007, 02:24 PM) It depands on your experiences and your negotiation skills. In terms of benefits, you will need to ask them to explain to you because over here, you will get better benefits if you stay longer. So far, they cover medical expenses (immediate), dental check-up expenses (eligible after 3 months) and even optical expenses (eligible after one year). If you are working in cyberjaya, you will be given rm300 for transportation allowance. is the RM300 allowance also eligible for those that live at Cyberjaya? However, the annual leave at Satyam is only 10 days and is on pro-rated basis. |

QUOTE(tycheah_7 @ Jul 15 2007, 05:29 PM) well in my opinion... this company is very racist. The name says it all. 9/10 are indians and imagine if you're the unlucky one.. Have a few friends working there and the feedback does not seems to be good.. i think you are the one that racist. this is an Indian company, of coz majority of their employee are Indian. And the name of the company is the founder's father name. But for my current batch, I saw a lot of Malay that join. |
