As per subject, anyone has feedback using the above tyres?

Requirements are very much vague but balanced. No need for super sports tyres. Something that relatively lasts, grips, comfortable and don't cost "too" much. Good things no cheap, cheap things no good but it cannot be ridiculously expensive if you know whatI mean.

Riding is mostly casual and for fun only. No speeding, no helmet touches the tarmac tilting, etc.

Reviews all point to the subject but would like to hear from those here. Thanks.

never used this before.. but have friends who use it.

when it first came out.. reviews were all good... after awhile, u start hearing the negatives. my friend who uses it also complained about it being slippery in corners.

ive also heard of someone saying that the maxxis diamond 3d is a better tire...and the diamond 3d is known to be a rather bad tire.

per your requirements, i think the Corsa S123 might be well suited. using this on my z250 and very happy with it in all conditions.

Metzeler Sportec Street has also gotten rather good reviews.

Avoid Zeneos ZN91 at all costs...this tire puts my life at stake every time it rains.

Madman, thanks. Great POV. Needed that considering the fact that google results are mostly positive.

Will have a look at the others. Would you happen to have any reviews on Battlax t30 or pilot street and how these 2 compare to the Metzeler and/or S123?

Is it IRC Road Winner? That's what I have on mine as well. Not that I have any problems with it. Besides they have now squared off due to wear and they aren't very good on painted roads, they seem fine to me actually.

How does CT compares to IRC?

worlds better IMHO. on IRC road winner that i had use (got around 12k before i change it). even when its new the grip was bad on wet road. I usually travel from kl -penang every 2 months so when using IRC tires esepcially on rear, u can feel its slippery and dont get me started on the white lines. every single time u hit the white line it'll skid a bit. The last draw for me was on the 10k km of travelling with the IRC tires where the wobbling and skidding becomes more apparent. i immediately change my rear tires once i got the chance.

Like i said the grip on wet for angel CT is ok. I mean its an upgrade from the factory IRC road winner.

Corsa S123 will suit your usage.

Or might go Platinum Corsa R99.

Metzeler Sportec Street having good reviews too.

Thanks g3n0c|d3. I guess my expectations for tires are pretty low. I was of the assumption the IRC that came as stock is pretty satisfactory. Silly of me to be concluding it like this as the stock tyres are the only tyres I've ever used. But I put on 500kms per annum on the bike hence the tyres don't get replaced too often.

For the price of those Pirellis, I don't think I can ask for more if it is way better than the stock.

Thanks again. Very insightful.

Hi BuncitPesonawan, can I ask a question on top of this? The suggested tyres are all within a certain price range am I right? Can't seem to find much (or rather, any) reviews online. The Metzelers seem to be a subsidiary of Pirelli. Not that it matters but...

Over and above that, may I know in the motorcycle world, Battlaxes and Pilots would be the high end tyres? E.g. T30 and PS Radial for 250cc motorcycles?

I'm just speculating coming from the car world where PS4, RE003, AD08R are the upper range tyres usually. Yokohama, of course, is not existent for 2 wheelers.

Thanks once more.

The s123 can be had for less than 400/pair...if 400.. considered expensive for this tire already..includes install n balancing..got mine for 360 at blackfire stores shah alam. 110 front n 150 rear.

Metzeler sportec street is slightly above 400..some places can get below 400 during promo etc.

Id say the s123 is equivalent to the michelin ps3...good in the wet n an excellent all rounder but does not excel at any particular one. Great for normal daily usage with some occasional "enthusiastic" cornering

Just that the s123 is a cheap tire since its indon brand

Im waiting for my kapchai to come out of the workshop then gonna install the s123 on that bike too

Being a jack of all trades and master of none works fine for me. Just don't suck and if it is an improvement over the current IRC, I guess that's enough for me.

BFS is where I'm looking at too. Their stock is most diverse it seems to me.

Thanks Madman.
