Hm just started watching the show a few days ago, at episode 8 now. So far the show has been really good, good pacing, good action, good suspense, good characters, good music (although the bgm tends to be pretty soft in general, and it's a little bit similar to fsn's style, done by the same composer kawai kenji afterall) and good story. The execution and the script of the sword smith (katanakaji) is just wow.
The show will undoubtedly become one of my fav if it manages to keep its awesomeness. This post has been edited by Depthcharge101: Nov 30 2007, 02:42 AM |

I noticed that too.If the story continues, I doubt Tanka will stand a chance 'getting' Balsa. Probably it would be an ultimate sacrifice scene and ends with a goodbye kiss instead. Nicely paced ending. Took an episode for the entire ending but it brought proper closure for this anime. It's a good anime. I did felt asleep during the middle episodes though. |

Woah just finished the series. Amazing.
Another series I definitely recommend. Good story, crazily good character development (never see a child prince as cool as Chagum!), great music, awesome atmosphere, everything's just good. More people need to watch this epic monogatari. |

Hm I haven't watched 12 kingdoms, but I always like to refer to shows like this as "monogatari(物語)", don't know why, it just gives me the feeling of that.
In any case, try 12 kingdoms, I heard it's pretty good too. Fantasy/drama as well. Another one is Saiunkoku Monogatari, also haven't watched myself. |
