QUOTE
After a brief rant about E3, Cory Barlog has updated the Playstation.blog with one crucial new confirmation: the game will use the newly-unlocked 333MHz speed of the PSP. "Many people are asking if God of War: Chains of Olympus is going to take advantage of this. The short answer is yes we are! Ready at Dawn has been doing some pretty amazing stuff with the PSP since the early days of the platform. Every time I see a new build I am more amazed with what we're able to pull off with the PSP."

It's incredible to think that Ready at Dawn was able to pull off such incredible graphics before the processor speed was unlocked. Now that the talented team of programmers has access to PSP's full power, it'll be interesting to see what else Ready at Dawn will be able to pull off.

Hehehe... the new 3.50fw have already enabled the 333Mhz feature. So it's up to the developers to use it.

im scared about the battery consumption, not whether or not the tv output would be near ps2 quality tongue.gif

i dont know if the current psp can be modified to enable tv out,so im scared about the battery life.

if it can only play for 1 hour, then goodbye portability, hello wall sockets sad.gif

God of War PSP delayed

It looks like there'll be no Kratos showing off Sony's Slim and Lite PSP this Christmas; the handheld God of War entry, Chains of Olympus has been delayed until early next year, reports Gamespot.

The new date for the portable bruiser is apparently pencilled in as March 4, 2008 in the US, with demo discs going out later this month to North American gamers who signed up online.

It's bad news for Sony then, which desperately needs triple A titles to help grow the userbase on its slick handheld - and of course push sales of the updated PSP Slim & Lite. Still, we can still look forward to Wipeout Pulse this Christmas, eh?

God of war: Chains of Olympus demo discs sent out

QUOTE
It has been confirmed on the playstation blog that the God of war demo discs have been shipped and should reach those who signed up for it soon. It even has a full name, God of war: chains of Olympus-Special Edition:Battle of Attica demo disc.

What is up God of War fans? Sorry for the long hiatus but things have been crazy here at Casa De Kratos...much to do. I thought I would come out of my somewhat self imposed media coma to let everyone know that the PSP demo discs are freaking done baby!!! As I type these words, legions of carrier Harpies are being dispatched to deliver the sweet UMD goodness that is God of War: Chains of Olympus - Special edition: Battle of Attica Demo Disc...otherwise know as GOW: COO -SE:BoADD. Good god...that is a freaking mouthful, even typing this abbreviated version makes me tired.

That's it for now, keeping this one quick. The game is looking absolutely amazing, btw, so I hope everyone enjoys this little taste of portable God of War goodness. As a matter of fact, I think it even got an award for the Best PSP Game, or something like that, at the Leipzig conference.

Alright, back to my work induced hibernation...
