QUOTE(Anime4000 @ Sep 14 2017, 09:47 PM) There are way to block unsigned exe? only signed program can be run. Usually Windows will prompt for security confirmation for unsigned exe like the UAC.I managed to self-signed into cert root and signed company exe program. There's no way to block it from running entirely, for example :- If the exe was signed by 3rd party authority which is recognized as safe (eg. COMODO), you cannot block it from running unless you revoke that certificate. But bear in mind that if you revoke COMODO's certificate, all exe that uses COMODO's cert will not run & will prompt for certificate installation. But if you run the exe with COMODO, the cert will auto install back or it will download from internet automatically. You can try google up for "blocking unsigned program", there is GPO available to block or allow only signed program to be able run. Its available in Microsoft TechNet or MSDN. |
