Hi fellow seniors, I realized that calculation for interest is slightly different for both AMEX & MC. For AMEX, is 8.88% p.a divided by 12 is 0.74% per month. for MC, its slightly higher, could it be 15% p.a? where its 1.25% per month?

thanks senior, because of job change, my pay will be reduced from my current job, but in totality, the salary is higher due to fixed allowances.

Pledge FD. If you are above 65 yrs there is supposedly a Bank Negara ruling where you won’t be able to apply for cc.
Even your annual bonus will be taken to consideration. Just give your income tax BE form & payment receipt can alrdy.

My current bonus payout is not reflected BE form, but based on 2017 EA form, the totality is above RM50k, so does it qualify? Will they accept EA form instead?

No, only BE form. M2Platinum requirement is RM60k though, so with RM50k it is still a bit far. The only way is to pledge FD, but there is hardly any difference between the Gold and Platinum except for the dedicated hotline.

Yeah with my newly reflected salary in March, I have it at RM60k annualy.

Just use your payslip if it reflects RM 5k and above for basic salary+fixed allowances.

Will 1 month payslip will suffice? or I need to wait another 3 months as per website requirement?
