QUOTE(woonsc @ May 24 2018, 01:21 PM) Ok, I went to MB to open a saving account so I can facilitate my CV repayment. They rejected and say any new account openings must be for salary purposes only. Lol, then asked me to use my existing bank to create a SI for my MB CC.. lol You mean Credit Card payment? AS they mentioned, you can create account using your CC to check your statement however wont get a Savings Account. QUOTE(laymank @ May 24 2018, 01:26 PM) I remember there is a function in M2U where you can create account (Premium-i Account, M-Saver or something like that) over internet yourself. Not sure if it requires an existing CASA. You can try. Yes those requires existing CASA account.

QUOTE(#Victor @ Jun 13 2018, 12:01 PM) CODE RM0.00 Maybank Cards: Registration done! Spend now with Maybank Cards and stand a chance to win RM100 every day for 100 Days from 9/6 -16/9/18. T&C apply. Same, lucky MBB still allow SMS registration using other mobile number that not linked with ur IC number, unlike other banks which only allow u to reply using the same registered mobile number without input IC number. If i have my own principal card and also a supp card from my spouse, do i only register my own IC or need both IC? Because supp card also applied using my IC correct?

Coz I want to earn treat points from it. For e.g. My card limit was RM10k, and I'm going to make a purchase of 15k. So I can top up 5k into my credit card account and make a swipe for 15k right? you need to deposit money into your card using Cash Deposit Machine. Cant transfer online because wont allow

QUOTE(hurtedheart @ Jul 28 2018, 12:00 PM) Hi, does anyone know what is this "transfer of balance conversion"? Why some negative and some positive figures? Thank you. [attachmentid=9942510] why not call bank to ask? This post has been edited by WaCKy-Angel: Jul 28 2018, 12:02 PM

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 9 2018, 08:42 PM) Yes, it is. E-wallets overtake everything in China. From cash straight skip to e-wallets. Anyway, back to earlier discussion. Like I mentioned earlier, hopefully this SST will give us an indirect opportunities to e-wallets to grow in Malaysia. Well, if it's meant to be happen, it will happen. Just like cash back/benefits revision and removal, at first we will feel not used to it or get angry but we adapt and accept changes. Even M2Cards has its 5% weekends cash back reinstated, who could have expected it? There are many uncertainties in this world. Who knows this CC tax will be removed in next Budget? Well, wishful thinking but anything may happen. i dont understand what is the reason to tax CC anyways.. to prevent ppl overspending using CC? just impose heavier interest then.

QUOTE(Morning_Star @ Aug 27 2018, 01:00 PM) Maybank has got a lot of customer base. Even though ur income is high, your approved credit limit will rarely exceed 2x multiplier. MBB can't spread their risk too thin. Only thing good is they issue CC very fast & efficient compared to other banks within 7 working days. not true...mine is about 3.7x of my income
