If you're pledging to FD, that amount is your CL.
I don't think income document matters anymore.

If got rejected, could be other reason.

May I know is it still possible to pledge an RM5000 FD account (without providing income document) and confirmed get the Maybank 2 Gold Card approved?

pledging FD is a collateral/guarantee to the bank. FD amount = card credit limit = you pledge your own limit, lowering bank's risk.

good payment record is not the only criteria bank is looking after, and it doesn't mean you are low-risk. they are also assess your debts, income, commitments, etc.

Managed to pay FPX with Amex, but when checking statement, it was given 0TP!! 

I feel the same..not worth to pay rm25 to visa/master 2card..
Now struggle which one to cancel, barcelona or amex 2card..if amex 2card only charge rm25 then confirm will use it..Need wait Maybank announcement first.
