anyone holding both maybank amex gold and platinum? Recently applied the platinum card but I am still holding the gold card. The maybank officer say can continue using gold card as well. Means can get rm50 cashback for both cards?

Nope. Only one RM 50 cash back. If it has two separated entitlement, we would have applied both. laugh.gif
No point keeping both anyway, my previous Gold card was automatically deactivated when my Plat was activated.

Cannot cancel, once cancelled, AmEx will be cancelled too.
Well, you can choose not to activate but I still activated and locked in drawer.

Want to confirm, this is my first time with a 2 Card style CC. While the 2 cards share same credit limit, they don't share the same statement balance right? I will need to pay the outstanding balance separate right?

same statement, just 2 cards' details inside.

*update: separate statement balance as well*

pay/transfer according to each respective card.

Online might need another process of activation. I remembered I called for my first online purchase many years back.

all this contest are scam, just to boost up their sales with usage from minor so that they can arrange someone from their management relatives or friends to show up for some fake prize presentation with a big cheque mentioning Rolex watch but then in real world it doesn't exists at all...
