Principal can redeem the TP on sup card. Not sure can supp card redeem the tp or not. But the TP gain from Supp card, add to Principal account. Correct me if I wrong.

For my Maybank Cards, supplementary card holder can "earn" treat points, but not "redeem".

Hence...my wife stopped using the supplementary cards I applied for her. Good in a way tongue.gif

hi all, due to the recent SST announcement for credit cards, I would like to cancel my maybank 2 card AMEX platinum only and keep the VISA platinum. Can this be done? how about the treat points in AMEX can it transfer to VISA ?

I think this question have been beaten to death a few times on this forum. And yes...I'm also guilty for asking this before.

No, you can't selectively cancel the "one" card you don't want. It's a package deal.

Before having knee jerk reactions, why not wait until 01 Sept and see what they say? It's possible that Maybank will absorb the charge for one card out of the two.

In my situation, I have Maybank 2 Card Plat with supplementary...so I'm looking at RM100 if they bluntly charge per card sweat.gif

if they charge RM25 x2 for both cards, then I will just cancel of Maybank CC. Not fair for the users.

Maybe not.

If you travel abroad (I; myself, travel a lot), and buy the ticket with Amex, there's complimentary travel insurance. And there's also treat points.

I use the AMEX card more than I use my VISA Infinite (now cancelled) local and overseas, and I really like not having the contact-less feature.

try to go europe restaurants or shopping malls.
purchasing online air ticket is not an issue. Some hotels don't even accept AMEX.

If you're talking about wide usage in Europe; Yes, I have had same issues in Schengen area every time. Only mostly high end places in Europe accept AMEX (Yes, I've tried and I know). If you travel often to Europe and not exactly frequenting high end places, AMEX would be pretty much useless and you're probably better off with something like a VISA Infinite.

Hi all, wonder if anyone here knows whether ptptn payment over the counter is entitled for 5% weekend cash back?

had to pay >2k to do restructuring which would max out my cashback for this month but i also need to renew car insurance this month before SST..

Ur the 1st person I seen that want to cancel the only card wth benefit in the combo and keep the useless one. If you want it that way better apply and keep Barcelona or Ikhwan as they will give you more benefit than the useless visa in the M2C

You get free insurance for buying sir ticket with any maybank plat card. Maybe you have better luck for me stupid AMEX never worked when it needs to. I travel 90% of the time and my experience with AMEX card is failed 95% of the time (invalid transaction or rejected).

It has nothing to do with my credit limit as I have 60K credit limit with my M2C card. The same terminal and I change to my Barcelona or Ikhwan card will work.

If my amex statement is RM200
If I pay RM 190, will I get charge for interest?
Estimate cash back is RM 10

statement balance would have already deducted cash back. If you don't make full statement balance you would be charged interest

August statement released today. Statement balance is RM200.
I expect cashback will be credited on 2/9.

well when is your due date for payment? if its after the cash back then just wait and then pay after the amount is updated. My statement is always on the 3rd of the month so CB had been calculated
