Looking for synthesizer suitable for creating EDM with many samples & Jack & Swing R&B style music. Has vocoder ability & record the whole composition including vocal just like Korg arranger series.

Actually I'm more Skrillex & Diplo kinda style, that electronic distorted voice tune which i dunno what it's called is everywhere now. Everybody wanna include that kinda of sound in their track. Plus coming from the 90's babyface's jack & swing r&b is still my favorite.

Combining these two could be a blast or a disaster, depending on the synthesizer or my talent. Maybe the latter has more to it, that i admit. Still if the synth can do the magic why not.

Let me research the OASYS.

The mininova/supernova line of synth might suit u. Microkorg if u are on budget.



Unless u are doing live performance, go for software ones, I think even shitty VST like garageband (free on every mac) could do it, or logic pro x if u are rich or flying the skulls and bones banner type of person.

No idea mate, doesn't own one, but if u see in the video, it does have it. But i wager it function like those beatpad things where u assign one pad to a beat loop

I agree with any VST synth can pull it off, just need to have crazy creativity

Easier if you already have similar raw sample sound, then tweak the synth knobs to your taste

another thing i notice most newer songs they heavily combining the synth with octave/pitch down/up effects
