Probably that'll happen when Apple finally makes a stock calculator app for the ipad whistling.gif

I suspect Apple will keep full gesture controls away from the pre-X iphones. For business reasons.

This is one of those great mystery given that iOS 12 is already out on beta as well.

Somehow or rather, when I updated to the 11.4, it didnt do much the first few days. Battery usage was so so. Apps runs fine. Then the battery performance kept improving the longer it gets, my last duration was 4 hrs 46mins with 32hrs stdby, 50/50 wifi/4G. And don't know whether its me or what but charging the phone also takes less time than before. Oh well, so long as the ios is improving, i wouldnt mind updating.....

There are some reports of battery drain in iOS 11.4 but I’ve not experienced it personally. Mine feels not much different from 11.3.1.

I doubt that.
Even if they do, you won't have a pleasant fell compare with those new iPhones and iPad.
It just make you feel frustrated.

11.4.1 is in public beta 2 now, I think. I have it on my ip6.

Anyway, it seems graykey has already circumvented Apple's new security feature.

anyone with ios 11.4 have any difficulty in fast charging? as in using 12w adapter and lightning cable. apart from that, i have some difficulty in LTE connectivity actually. signal shows LTE but the fact is, i can't even open safari. sad.gif

i think the drain issue will continue in ios 12 too. was very skeptical on updating the ios nowadays. comparing to ios 10 vs 11 series, they actually throttling the phones performance and battery life. previous version of ios is not allowed too, they don't signed the previous versions anymore. sad.gif
