iPhone X has a longer screen. But all and all, iPhone 8+ has a bigger screen when watching video in full screen without having to see the notch ops.

Yea it is indeed smaller and I’m still trying to get used to it coming from previous 3 plus models..but slowly to realize instead of getting used to it, I’ll just wait patiently for another 10 months for the bigger version meanwhile just play with the younger ones...

It’s better for reading too, it squeezes more lines in a paragraph than the X.

There will alwasy be backlash but your opinion & view is a welcome as others can benefit from it. Myself, I’m using iPhone due to work need, otherwise I would prefer Android mainly due to it’s flexibility. Iphone IS good but with recent negative publicity & from personal experience as well where there is throttling/slowdown, I feel they need to buckle up and improve given Iphone 7s are just 1 year old devices.

Yeah, X definitely better than the regular 8, but 8 Plus is a better (and cheaper) alternative for those who would want a phablet sized phone. The X isn't it.

The x has slightly smaller display size, but a few new features for the 1k+ top up from the 8plus...so it's either u want the tad bigger screen with other same old features/looks..and save the 1k on ip8+, or pay the 1k+ for tad smaller screen + a few new features, including buttonless, almost edgeless, much smaller fit-to-hand sized phone...a lot of my friends (girls) went straight with the x coz it's much smaller physical size than the 7/8plus models which fits perfectly into their smaller palm, yet only 15% smaller display size (and the taller screen made it up for better reading) with bunch of new things to look forward + whole new design + new rear vertical design lens (which is ugly imo)..and the 1k topup is lol to them....so to them is a win win win win..

Interesting, I’m running on 7 plus now and I tot upgrading to x will be an upgrade in screen size which is what I’m interested in

All background app refresh , push notification and etc are turned off actually

Something is wrong with your phone. There might be a rouge app using it, that’s why use time is 15 hours.

I have everything turned on, Bluetooth, wifi, background app refresh, location services and push notifications but if I leave it overnight, the usage does not count like that. If I left it at 100% before sleep, in the morning it will still be 100%.

I came from 7 plus too...if screen size is important for u then I suggest u stay on till bigger x end of this year..I'm ok with it so far just need time to get used to it..about 15% smaller in overall...but other than that everything is a step up..including battery...
This is a mystery forever....I know how it feels like gambling battery overnight...lol nobody know what's going on actually...

Actually you can check. 2 ways i.e. by xcode or an app in the phone. I personally use System Status available in the app store. You can see the CPU usage if the CPU Have spikes.

Use the app to monitor the CPU usage. If there’s nothing running, the CPU load should be around 10% - 15%.

If want to get down to the details then you need xcode on mac to see what app or process hogging the CPU.
