So lets say I am a new customer to Celcom, I just need to pay RM2,828 + RM700 (upfront payment) for iPhone 8+ 64gb and tie to 24 month postpaid contract.
The website mention the RM700 will instant rebate in 1st month? How it works? It will credited to your bank account?
Can I do installment on the RM2,828 device price?

QUOTE(NXaqua @ Oct 22 2017, 10:31 PM) No catch ? By the way, anyone have this weird issue. Normally our phone screen display will off while talking, and the display will return when we end the call. In my case, the display screen still remain off and therefore I cannot press the End call button. After a few second, the display back to normal. We checked with another dealer, and he says the cause is due to the temper glass covering the sensor at the side of the phone. Side? I think i will pop over to Switch and sort it out. Thanks. Having the same problem too

QUOTE(NXaqua @ Oct 23 2017, 11:12 PM) Problem solved. We removed and replaced the tempered glass albeit cheaper one costing about RM40.00. Lesson learnt - read the print on the box carefully. If it says, compatible with IPhone 8 Plus, better ask Maxis to open and check the fitting doesn't cover up the sensor hole. May I know which brand/type of tempered glass you bought? Because I'm just replaced my full cover tempered glass with a normal RM1 tempered glass. Sensor seems like no problem but the tempered glass can't fully cover my screen while the old one slightly blocked my screen. I suspect iPhone 8+ screen is slightly bigger than iPhone 7+, which less than 1mm from side to side < >.

QUOTE(dayangheimy @ Oct 31 2017, 03:01 PM) i dont understand celcom's upfront. so if we take 98 per month package, and upfront is 700 so we dont have to pay bill for 7 month is it? Because from the website it stated Upfront Payment RM700 (Instant Rebate in 1st month) Yes, you are right. Please take note that the upfront payment will be RM700 x 6% = RM742.

QUOTE(Baelzephon @ Oct 31 2017, 05:58 PM) I took Celcom First Gold 98 too without up front payment. I even asked twice to the Celcom staff, she said no need to pay any up front payment. I’m confuse Previously I was not Celcom customer and I bought my iPhone 8+ with RM98 plan under device bundle category. Since upfront payment will be credited back to us, I think we should not worry too much about it.
