Digi just posted on FB saying the iPhone 8 and 8+ will be available on the 13th of October.

Guess it’s 13th start preorder then 20th official release.

Glad I am past all this. I was afraid I was going to regret also hence I purchased both. Got the 8+ on Malaysia launch and managed to snag an iPhone X from SG awhile back.

After 3 days of usage sold the X. Sorry but to me, using the X feels like a half assed product at the moment. App compatibility is terrible and apart from the method of unlocking the phone and its exterior looks, it felt like I had a normal iPhone 8. Screen gets chopped off quite considerably when playing most videos, games and apps. It will definitely get better as app developers roll out updates. But nah, I'll let the guinea pigs do the work and enjoy the fruits next year. I expected a big jump in camera and screen quality as well but was left disappointed also.

To me, Apple's latest and "greatest" only appears greatest in price atm.
