iphone 8 Plus or iphone x

Me too quite liked the X because of the overall new design but if for the overall usage i felt plus is better for me because of the screen size.
Will go for X plus version next year if they launch that. Now just wondering if next year sell off the X 256GB, how much will it fetch ? I dont think its easy to sell a yesteryear preowned at 4k ( 1.9k loss ) .
I always fund up new gadget with offloading the previous one but the phone price getting higher each year make this much more harder except we can let go at 50% loss or more. Thats quite hurt to the wallet lol.

I feel you bro coz I also do lots of buying of gadgets, trying and then selling it off with as minimum loss as possible but I also noticed lately that its getting harder and harder to offload a second hand gadget at a good price. But if I put myself in the shoes of a buyer, I can understand the feeling coz I wouldn't really wanna pay say 3k or more for a used product.

Yes, you’ll need a credit card, unless you go for plans like Celcom Easy Plan or Maxis Zerolution, which adds the cost of the phone to your bill, hence your monthly billing = price of phone+monthly plan+GST. While there’s not much savings in that, the installment plan won’t be higher than the actual price. That’s not how telcos work. Price definitely will be lower if you sign a contract and still take a 0% EPP with the telco. The price is only high if you opt for an installment plan with retailers such as Harvey Norman, SenQ, Machines, Switch, etc. because they need to charge the bank interest rate to you, which typically is about 2-4%. Just stay away from Courts Mammoth’s five year installment plans and you should be fine.

There is nothing much procedure, as what you need to do is sign contract for 24 months and purchase device in subsidies price. The calculation of the device is not expensive than retail price though. Assuming if you are purchasing a phone from Apple Store at RPP and you are not using any telco plan(meaning to say, you don't do phones call, don't use mobile date), then it is worth for getting from Apple Store. For instance if you are buying 64gb iPhone 8 plus, please see below:

1) Buying from Digi 78 plan. The price of total = 3005 + (78[12gb internet] x 24) + GST = 4877 + GST
2) Buying from Apple Store. The price of total = 4149
3) Buying from Apple Store. The price of device 4149 + (50x24[Telco Plan 10gb internet]) + GST = 5349 + GST

From the above, you can see, if your scenario is 3), then you will be getting lesser internet (2gb) but paying more RM472 + GST.
As above. I wonder if it is make sense for you, that is why I am purchasing it from telco instead of at RPP price.
