QUOTE(jepertine90 @ Sep 27 2017, 12:20 PM) just to comment on the picture size itself, apple is using new format for image, as per claim, the image in iOS11 is basically half the size as the previous one. I concur. Unless you install a lot of games then the 64gb version is too small for you.I've an iphone 6s 64gb and after 1.5 years of usage(and I gave it to my bro already), the storage i used only around 35gb, and in this 1.5 years i've been travel to few countries, in library got around 3k photos, 1gb of music library, and few videos which sums and close to 30 mins footage @1080p. IMO, unless you are taking 4k videos and take hundreds of selfies everyday, 64gb should be sufficient for daily. Last time I use iPhone 6S+ 64GB for almost a year with a lot of photos + jailbreak stuff + games + more than 100 apps + some videos recorded still have 15GB+ left. |

QUOTE(christcwl9 @ Sep 29 2017, 11:14 AM) Hey guys, is iPhone now comes with International warranty? I asked the support at Apple.com (APple USA) and they told me it is :hmn: So far what I know, you need to give your iphone info to Apple Support online and then will give like a remark number. Then send your phone to local Apple and give the remark number together. Without it, they wont proceed. But that's a SEA set, I dont know if now already have international warranty.I plan to get iphone 8 at APple Hong Kong. |

QUOTE(JasonTheGreat @ Sep 30 2017, 09:40 AM) Guys, if warranty aside, can a US, Hong Kong, Japan iPhone be use here with our telco? US & HK I can confirm can be use here with any telcos. Japan maybe the same but I won't be sure as I don't own Japan set yet.I know the modem chip is different. Can be use means 4G / LTE is working. |

QUOTE(Wildcat @ Oct 2 2017, 12:09 PM) QUOTE(jenniferjen @ Oct 2 2017, 12:18 PM) I saw the warranty are there, just that they partner KL with HK for the warranty... not sure how they do that... T&L Telecom is reliable. I bought plenty from them. So far none that needed to send for warranty but if so, it's not that hassle to claim it. Just drop the package at their office near Plaza Lowyat, no need to pay for the shipping. |

QUOTE(stinky @ Oct 3 2017, 08:18 AM) Ok, i recheck, seems like for the X and also the 8+, the LTE bands are similar except A1865 has an additional CDMA band which we dont use here in Malaysia (CDMA in Japan and Verizon..etc only) I've used AT&T & T-Mobile version of iPhone before, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus to be exact. Works normally, all LTE can be use in MY.So does it mean that if i can any other 2 models will work here and best is to get A1895 as it has additional band. I'm planning to get either in US or HK Cellular and Wireless Model A1865* FDD-LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 66) TD-LTE (Bands 34, 38, 39, 40, 41) TD-SCDMA 1900 (F), 2000 (A) CDMA EV-DO Rev. A (800, 1900, 2100 MHz) UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz) GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz) Model A1901* Model A1901 does not support CDMA networks, such as those used by Verizon and Sprint. FDD-LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 66) TD-LTE (Bands 34, 38, 39, 40, 41) UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz) GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz) |

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 6 2017, 07:32 PM) The dimensions of the 7 Plus are slightly different to the 8 Plus, so while some cases may fit, they may be a little tighter, so harder to insert in and difficult to take out, in some cases. For example, both my wife and I are using Spigen Crystal Hybrid with our 7 Plus and 8 Plus respectively, and we are both using the same tempered glass too. Hers easily gets in and out the case sometimes even without removing the bumper but mine is more difficult to do so. Ya I also using the 7+ case. Seems okay, no problem so far. Hard case though.I’ve yet to see cases specific for the 8 Plus though. |

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 24 2017, 03:51 PM) Ya, it's not viable to sell off the 8 Plus now, so even if I do get the X, I'll pass it down to my wife. Yup iPhone 8+ is wider. Feels more sturdy and fully in the hand. Anyways, just went to play with the phone at Machines. It does feel really small, after years of being used to big phones, ha ha ha.
