Want to try replacing the battery. The DS4 battery life is still fine.
Any guides to follow or it's better not to touch the existing batteries?

Details:
There's a thread in Reddit that shows how to replace the battery.
https://www.reddit.com/r/PS4/comments/2rtim...acity_internal/

Info based on the Reddit thread:
Original Battery Dimensions:
LxWxT(mm)
54mm x 35mm x 8mm

Suggested replacement:
Adafruit/PKCell LP-803860:
LxWxT(mm)
62mm x 38.5mm x 8.5mm

What i bought?
Easylander Li-Po 20mAh battery
LxWxT(mm)
50mm x 34mm x 10mm

imo better buy/DIY external battery pack. Sony might reject your DS4 warranty claim if you change battery.
strange, people cheer & applause Sony for making DS4 with internal battery while Xbox One doesnt & yet people still wanna change orginal battery hmm.gif
rather I choose what type/brand of rechargeable battery then use a fix one. just me thou. laugh.gif

My warranty ended long time ago.
Launch day PS4 controller with the not so great rubber peeling issue.
Since i am replacing the thumbstick, might as well modify the battery too.

I also found this thread which involves soldering two Nokia batteries together. Doesn't seem safe to me, that's why i have to avoid this approach.
