the income in uber depends on where you drive ..not every one of us drive in klang valley hard to pin point a specific range.

i drive in nilai as i stay in seremban. if i only drive in seremban its very hard to hit even rm100 per day no matter how many hours u drive unless you get far trips. in nilai its slightly better as trip requests are frequent ut still during college sem breaks the income could be lower without long distance trip.

recently there was a 5 - 8pm quest every weekdays and it was 6 trips for rm50 on top of trip fares.that kind of helped to boost income on daily basis otherwise on trip fares alone it is not an attractive deal. they have these 54 trips quest mon-thurs n that would also help.

but i noticed that if i hit all the quests on regular basis every week which i do..uber would gradually reduce the quest incentive thereafter to lesser amount.

so i stop hitting the quest sometimes for one or 2 weeks and then they start me on better deals once again

for riders uber is cheap ride...yet still 95% of the riders keep a big piece of banana stuffed inside their mouths that they dont even have the courtesy to call/msg and tell their exact house number (if pick from housing) or which entrance/exit (if pick frm shopping) or which shop (if pick from shophouse)...they just keep quiet and driver have to spend money to call and ask them "datuk seri which entrance would you be waiting" ?? Yes the driver can msg them free but while driver to pick them its dangerous to type a msg in the app. I hope riders can read this here

Dont think 3k is possible unless you drive insanely long hours, everyday , invest in lots of petrol
In Sban i think its possible to get 2.5k gross ...
In N.Sembilan ,nilai is the most profitable town to drive

The problem is the very low fare by uber...insanely low so no matter how many trips you do locally you can't really hit even 100 a day easily
They do give you quest and if you hit their quest you can pocket the incentive amount but what happens is that...
As you hit every quest , they will start to reduce the incentive step by step until it comes to a point that you feel its too low and not worth the effort to make so many trip just to get that little incentive...

Seriously Uber needs to revise their fare , because the fare is so cheapkate the drivers mentality also change and they resort to all kinds of tricks like caling and asking "mana mau pergi" and if its near then they ask you to cancel it...why on earth do we need to drive 14km to pick someone and then they travel 5km and pay RM3.40 ??? Are we indebted to Uber to do this or are we running a charity association here

this is how bad it can be on certain days..not that i am lazy to drive more trips but this is an illustration of how cheap uber fares are...so its not really about many trips = more money in uber...... making short trips will not yield much but it can contribute towards completing the quest only

Often i hear complaints from my riders tht uber drivers call n ask for destination and cancel if its short..the newest complaint was the uber driver came in a different car to pick up and said his car spoil..the customer of courss did not take the ride and had to pay the rm5 at next ride which was me...i decided to check on some scams " some " uber drivers employ and just sharing it here as information.

What they do when they get long distance , halfway through the journey or in just 10 to 15min time press the complete trip n switch offline n perhaps close their screen or switch off their phone (meaning they know the way to the destination). Or they will pretend their batt died n ask direction from rider. Upon reaching the destination the rider will pay wht his app shows. Since the driver has "completed" the trip earlier the fare n commision in his uber app will be much much lower and he pockets the difference. I came to know this when i sent my foreign guests in a uber to klia.. I used my wife rider app n we paid the driver in advance as we wanted to sponsor the trip for our guest...it was rm45.00 n wife my gv the uber driver rm50. But later when i checked her rider app it shows abt 12 bucks n the destination not klia but a place along the way !! All kinds of trick the uber driver employs . Below is the screenshot .

yes all short trips..total 41hr 56mins..

i can't figure this out in any way...do they think i would be an outright idiot to drive 21km to pick someone..
i am sure their destination is just to a nearby place...s
o after drop them , will i get another 18-21km request to somewhere...it continues and i will end up 100km away from my house!!

yes that screenshot was up to saturday only...i completed that one golden trip on sunday and qualified for GOLD
yes this time i didn't mind the fare too....

where do you get your statistics that uber short of drivers..come to nilai..open up rider app n see how crowded it is with uber drivers from morning till even midnight..it is also crowded with grab drivers but there are very few grab riders...so grab drivers need to wait long for ping...i am driving both so i talk with personal experience.

i notice all driving for UB or even GB tint their windows quite dark n when i pass them its impossible for me to see their faces..some even block with the sun shade.. perhaps a lady driver there .. :-)

it was a general statement tht ub was short of driver so i responded that it is not so in nilai...if he specifically state in KV only then i would agree and by the way i would not compare nilai against kv ... who would ??

i believe this forum is for uber driver who are actively driving for UB part time or full time and of course there will be negative and positive comments from drvers..all in the game...but...wait ...i am wondering what those who have deleted their Ub driver app BUT still driving part time are doing here or more precisely bullsgitting around huh.....haha

i am ace too...but every week managed to complete 120+ trips so pocketed rm1320 X 3 weeks only... i targeted for 4 weeks but on the 4th week (this week) i came down with fever and sore throat on sunday...took medication on monday and planned to "hit" it from tuesday onwards...but tuesday my close friend dad passed away so had to go and be with him till the end of funeral...wednesday i had an job interview in kl at 3pm so dare not "venture" out before that scared end up missing interview so planned to drive after interview but it was terrible jam in kl so drove home bck...thursday my wife came down with fever so had to take her to clinic n buy lunch n dinner n all tht home stuff thingy....on friday i already know it was impossible to hit any targets n gave up....hehe

i hope they can continue the ace so i can target 150 trips every week in january in new energy and new resolution and pocket rm7400 every 4 weeks..

i also want to find out (comparing to to others here) if my car is fuel efficient or just so so only..lets say at current price i pour 22 litres of ron95 at abt rm50
if all my trips are short and within 30 minutes for that 22 litres i get about 270-280 km...if there are some long distances more often i can get about (for the same 22 litres) 320-330km...so thats plus minus a range of 12 to 15 km per litre ....mine 2nd gen vios 2011 model auto...driving very light footedly...

i commonly / mostly see sagas,bezzas,myvis,axias,alzas,almeras and even personas being used by other uberanians near my place !!

I was waiting to be offered ace.again..but still no notification...december got it n completed successfully
