Some drivers had come to the conclusion that earning that rm5 cancellation fee is more worthy than actually fetching passenger themselves. True to some extent, I made some trips around 5 minutes and only get fares below rm5.

Its not cheap man, it will cost me MYR28 while grab was MYR29. So what? At least pick up the call or reply. Waste my time some more. Dont be ridiculous for 5 ringgit la. Who cheap now?

This is what I hate about this type of driver...there was a time I was at the airport requesting uber..then this driver called me and ask where is my destination..after he knew my destination, ask me to wait and said he is coming...saw his car in GPS already here, so waited him about almost 15 minutes still not coming...call him and he said his car breakdown and ask me to cancel....that time I already knew I will be charged rm5 no matter who cancel..then I went around to look for him and saw him driving off with a passenger(supposedly is grab passenger) coz my uber app yet to cancel... and I have no choice but to cancel and being charged rm5... straight report to uber and I believe he is now being banned for good....this type of driver is causing the community bad reputation..

I guess too many badass drivers like me  swipe arrived +/- 5 min before actual arrival, then, once reach, don't see rider, sms no reply, straight click "rider no show"....then, wait little further, for request again.

Still remember the apps ask me "Are you sure you arrived pick up location?" when the gps signal detect I have not reach yet  I insist swipe yes...even though got dunno what fine print say u will get suspended lah, etc......never happen also until I decide to self-suspend 

Uber driver's dilemma. Normal trips without surge is charity drive. Surge trips, kena one star. Do u die, dont do u oso die.

Want to ask is there any minimum star rating before uber bans your acc? Recently my star rating 4.6.. ytd got a bitch gave me 1 star as her pick up location information not clear then made her wait like 5mins..

If I am rider, of course I would choose the cheapest ride of the two....afterall, there is little differentiation between Uber and Grab.

If both fare about same, then, I will request Grab, coz no need hassle answer call from driver asked "mana mau pigi?" 

Grab driver mau accept, accept lor, don't want accept, don't accept lor....no need call and ask, willing rider, willing driver.

Plus, Grab got promo one, got points convert to other stuff  Uber habuk pun tarak

obviously airport trip is king if not then far outstation trip with extra bonus of empty car back cost

Hi al. Newbie from Johor. 2 mth driving and really feeling shitty. Shortestever trip after 5km pick up a freaking 200m...!!!
Farthest pick up 22km for a 1.2km trip. As per Uber, drivers are partners. Any partnership profit n lost is shared. Uber wise, they know if trip is good or bad yet the send drivers on a kamikaze. What a partnershp !!!!

That day I get Grab job, 20+km for RM28. This one pickup 22km get RM2... Omg... 

Oops. What I meant is, the Grab job is RM28 fare, 20+km from pickup to dropoff.

For the other guy's case, he drive 22km to go pickup passenger, Uber only give him RM2 for driving that distance... Omg...

got, but, very seldom, maybe 1 in 3 months kua......

my suggestion, or my trick when receiving request from condo, I will message rider their block or lot number before even I start driving there. Then, only they reply I will start my journey. When almost reach (~5 min before), I will swipe arrived, so, I no need to wait for too long, most of riders are divas, arrived only start wearing shoe, come out, lock door, wait for life, etc, etc.....easily 10-20 min wait.

Of course, you can click cancel after 5 min, but, then, what pissed off 4:59 min, they appear 

So, rather than I wait, better they wait.....they think their time important, ours not meh?

I remember previously Uber roped in some taxi drivers into the system. What happened after that ? If got taxi drivers, how come UberFlash still so far pickup ?
