You need ONE more to step into Gold, doubling what you earned. I like your completed trips and won't mind the fare.

Seriously, need to smack UBER to revise the current fare. Still encounter fare below RM3, worse part is.. i.e. if the fare is RM2.20, still need to give return 80 cents.. else omitting 20 cents to round it up.. and it became RM2 job.. *vomit blood

KV really short of UB drivers these days. I drove last week, 2nd ping came in within a minute I started the current ride. It could be due to year end sales and events hosted here and there, demand was far greater than supply. Almost half of the time rider needs to wait for more than 20 mins if not 10-15 mins even distance is below 5km due to traffic and driver shortage.

Got really special for me.. specially low quest bonus.. RM 100 for 54 trips. Last weekend already tarak quest bonus. Didn't mind nor bother for quest bonus since I'm entitled for ACE.

Back to your question.. UB mentioned something new is coming this week, unfortunately "kosong" new announcement.

Ever since got entitled for ACE, I've been skipping all those "more than 40 mins" trips, more than 10 times and even surged one. (1.3x-1.8x)
Can't believe I ever will do that but doing so enabling me to take more short trips instead of wasting an hour or more and end up at undesired location i.e Klang, Bangi, Putrajaya.. etc.. and KLIA.

Earning = RM36.62, and end up at Nilai.

Assuming empty car back Puchong.

= RM36.62 - Return trip cost, 43km x 0.25cents (high f/c per km) + RM5.70 for toll
= RM36.62 - (10.75+5.70)
= RM20.17

Nett earning, RM20.17 for more than an hour (forth and back). Lucky you still can operate at Nilai, assuming you did continue there. If else where further.. UBER don't give a shit about your return cost to base.

You should make it an offline job. Take back the commission to cover your return trip.


Doubling UBER's fare

People like UBER fare, but not the other way for driver.

Sorry, I meant to say how GRAB fare calculate and end up much higher than UBER.

Both platform's fare are acceptable.

Using this distance and multiply by 2 for Nilai case, that's more like it with the fare value x2.

This one GRAB driver sure GG, and driver not likely to accept.

I believe many 150-achievers and UBER has to top off beyond their predicted sum to drivers, hence now capping to max 30% top off.


IMO.. 150 is doable in 5 days (but need 12+ per day), 170 is A LOT (it takes at least 6 days with long driving hours each day).. and 200??? equivalent 90-100 hours per week.. ki siao meh?

IMO, higher offer, higher trip requirement will only wearing a person's health/energy down in a long run. I don't think I can do 170 or more every week.. maybe once every now and then. (if ACE became permanent). I strongly suggest UBER to keep as in first ACE trial, 150 for 1850.. maybe include 30% top up max (as like in 2nd ACE trial)

Offer higher 'stage' only benefiting the company but at driver's health expense. I know all of us can stop/start driving anytime but human by nature is greed.. saw the highest, aim for highest, but forgotten about own's health. Dear bros, keep in mind that health and time with family are more important than money.

+1, really not easy to maintain 30 trips per day everyday. During my first ACE trial, 2 days 30+, 3 days 26-28 only (in a week)

Sorry to hear. Even I got into 2nd trial, I don't think I will hit 170 every week and do every week. It is quite exhausting to chase on first trial.
