Today, 9/11/2017 at 14:00 hr (+8 GMT Beijing), the new Mi Note 3 is released! The new Mi Note 3 inherited the flagship Mi 6's camera, but with a larger screen, standing at 5.5 inch Big!

5.5" display with reading mode

16MP Front Camera with Adaptable AI Beautify
Rear dual camera, 2x optical zoom with 4-axis OIS

In terms of pricing, the 64 GB version will set you back RMB 2,499 (around $385), while the 128 GB variant will retail for RMB 2,899 (around $445) — only the black model. There’s also a fancier blue version of the device available that only comes with 128 GB of space and is slightly more expensive at RMB 2,999 (around $460).

Unfortunately, Xiaomi hasn’t shared any info regarding the release date of the Mi Note 3 yet. No need to worry though, as soon as we hear more on this topic, we’ll be sure to let you guys know.

Not excited for mi note 3.
Processor is lower grade.
Feel like getting Mi5s plus much better than these

The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 smartphone comes with 64GB or 128GB of inbuilt storage, with no expansion via microSD card

So this basically the larger version of Mi6

But mi 6 use 835 ~ this 1 660 ???

Can use this to replace my wife old Xperia Z2

Too many models, PRC always prefer new model.

dafuq chipset downgrade, screen downgrade, battery downgrade but camera & speaker are upgraded.

the most logical reason for this is that Xiaomi Mi Note 2 sale are not as high as expected so they downgrade & lower the price.

Might as well call it Redmi Note 5.

They are doing smart business. For example when everybody was rushing for the Redmi Note 3 Pro, lots of praises for what a bargain with it's speedy performance and at the same time lots of complainant the whole year about overheating issue. A year later they managed to create Redmi Note 4 with the SD 625 chipset which is power efficiency and cooler than it's predecessor but drop in speed performance.

So user will need to choose either fast or cool. It's all about balance.

For instant now Samsung J + and Samsung J Pro. One with dual lens camera but 3000mAh battery and the other one with front and back camera but with 3600mAh. User will choose either better camera function or bigger battery power.

For user, it's always about preferences and for smartphone developer, it's always about balancing the choices of their product. Price always can be a factor.
