Hello everyone,

I'm a 4th Year Medical student currently studying in Russia. I'm having medical issues that require me to go back Malaysia for further treatment.
I have contacted MMC (Malaysian Medical Council) for this matter, they said it's possible as long as I am granted admission into the university.

Does anyone have any idea on credit transfer for MBBS/MD from a Russian University to Malaysia please?
For instance, may I know which university would consider for MBBS/MD credit transfer and willing to do the curricular mapping?

I really hope to get some positive replies from you all.
Thanks a lot.

I think a few local private Universities accept transfer but at 4th year , not sure.

Try all except  Monash, Newcastle & imu . These 3 wont accept , I think.

Thanks for your reply @tpleong. In fact I've emailed a number of universities regarding the transfer. Mostly with negative reply, if at all, but IMU turned out to be willing to do the curricular mapping for me, after reviewing my academic transcript. I'm looking to transfer into at least 3rd Year if possible, if not 4th Year.

I'm still in progress of getting my full curriculum here, as the administrative system here is somewhat slow. I have to run to all the department to acquire the required documents.

More info and opinions are greatly welcomed.

It is not possible to transfer clinical credits, so all students in whatever stage of the clinical years must restart in year 3....

Really? Year 3 for me is good enough.. I can't imagine if I were to repeat from Year 2.
