can anyone tell me how to pay other bank credit card bill using maybank2u? i had been searching for the solution but found none in maybank2u site. the closest i found is under the "online bill payment" > "add/remove credit/card". However it mention there it is not for this purpose. I read in another thread mentioned about this possibility but nobody gave the detail procedure. Thanks and please advice.

You can try pay thru inter bank GIRO. But not all credit card are accepted. U need to check the bank listing. Mbank2u will charge u rm2 for each transfer

yeah, use the interbank giro ... i myself use mybnk2u to pay my citibank credit card

u'll be charged RM2 per transaction

funds transfer > interbank > open interbank (giro) transfer > [select bank>]

beneficiary name : ur name
beneficiary bank : the bank that accepts ur credit card pymnt (might not be the same as ur credit card provider.
(e.x : Aeon credit card pymnt is to citibank as Aeon is not a bank)
beneficiary acc number : ur credit card number as on card

if u want to save the details so that u won't need to key in again the details, just add the details under "funds transfer > third party & own accounts > third party maintenance"

I cant say for sure. I feel like it should be possible for 'most' credit cards from any banks.
Make sure u confirm with ur credit card provider whether they accept GIRO pymnts.

if yes, then u can pay/transfer money to ur credit card from any bank, online.

for me, it took roughly 2-3 days for my citibank to update it's 'history' and say "payment received - thank you" ... tongue.gif

Check out this table:

http://www.maybank2u.com.my/consumer/onlin...giro_table.html

It'll solve all of your questions. Take note this CC bill payment will be considered as Interbank GIRO Fund Transfer.

All IBG (standard) is 10 cents. This is regulated by BNM.

If you opt for Instant Transfer, you'll be charged for RM 2 by M2U. However, not every bank support Instant Transfer.

If you have a Standard Chartered Bank account, all IBG transfers are at no charge. I always pay my Citibank CC every month and its site is user friendly.
