Why would people want to use netflix hd on tvbox ? Isn't that netflix hd is the default on the smart 4k TV ?

How is content linked to account in Netflix ? When you use VPN to access netflix content in US, do you use a different netflix app and different netflix account ? Or you use the same account, same netflix app, the public IP of the network automatically decides where is the content is pulled down for viewing ?

current astro go version is v2.192.5/AC/9.2.5/2313a43 dated 8 Aug 2019.

this one has a bug fixed - video and audio are now sync-ed correctly for live HD channels.

and i seem to see an improved video... improved colors and clarity... perhaps bit rate been raised...

yep, the last i checked, this latest new version also had same judders for live hd channels, no improvement.

Don't hold your breadth... Their focus is very much still mobile devices ONLY.. Except rules are being bent cuz HDMI out is a thing... Played all through the day on the Minix Neo U1 and not a single issue..

i am quite sure Q5pro firmware is same as Q10pro, currently 2.1.4.
they are unrooted, no need magisk or superSU app to do anything.
since 1.5 years ago, they can run astrogo, old or new versions.
in fact, u can just go to playstore and install it.
if there is any update, u just go to playstore to update or wait for it to auto update.
this is rare as other boxes need manual download apk to sideload, to update.

Seller guaranteed Astro Go running on Android 9 version. So far working fine except some lag on live channels. Today I installed latest version 2.193.2/AC19.3.2/0163930 from apkpure.com and lag has improved, especially for live sports.

Have not physically checked whether the tv box is hot, but so far have not encountered hang due to overheat.

How is yours working? Mine AOTG not working. Can't login. And I can't seem to find the "magic" that everyone is talking about.

Try using the app SD maid to clear out some junk. Also look through the installed apps and remove all you don’t need. You might even find a problematic app that just runs nonstop and bogging down your system. Best to uninstall such .. If that still doesn’t help with the boot up speed and or system lagging? Try a factory reset, that should revert back to the stock ROM as clean as can. Then reinstall safe apps.

Goal is to save your device (and money) first before really looking for another box.

Good suggestion, another is try to shutdown the box when not using ( power button at ur plug , not just press shutdown from remote that will put the box in standby mode) personal experience with Tanix old model tx3 mini...if didn't shut down properly and let the box standby too long time will bring all the laggy problem
