I am sure minix is trying very hard.
Just that the certifiers can be fussy... cant blame them... if not, tomdickharry will get it, no value.
Extend the argument, majority claiming google cert, L1, netflix 4k, dolby atmos, dolby vision..... plenty fakes, uncertified... dun get fooled.
We will see in the coming months more complete reviews of mini t5, u22xj... himedia s500, 8k... ugoos am6pro, x3.
So many makers, so many standards.... video, audio, price.... its good to have choices.
I remember seeing an email from netflix staff to minix, saying something along the lines of 'we are not interested in working with you guys'Just that the certifiers can be fussy... cant blame them... if not, tomdickharry will get it, no value.

I also recall the minix staff stating, netflix gave them impossible requirements before they can get the certification. one of them being.. first, minix has to sell X amount of devices in the US - which is practically impossible without the netflix certification.
read this in 1 of those android boxes sites I think.. or the minix user forums
