Hello want to ask any places in KL or PJ that have demo units of 4k monitors so we can take a look?
Most shops carry only limited 4k monitors, and when they do it's usually in the box and not on display. even if on display also it's usually turned off or not connected to PC.

If anyone knows any shops please advice. Would like to test and get a feel of the 4k monitors. Also best if can compare if they have different sizes 28", 30", 32" etc.

The unfortunate thing is even if there is one on display and a video us playing on it, the video isn't 4k resolution to show how good is the screen.

Well I did see one on display and video(some low res one that is) at IT Comp iirc. Only a Samsung oder though

Yes bro you r right. I saw a 40" 4k monitor in gagdetzone but the desktop resolution itself is 1080p only. Tried to change it but then the shop staff said the desktop graphics can't support 4k. bangwall.gif
So it was almost pointless putting the 4k monitor there.

Besides video also i'm hoping to view how the 4k resolution works with desktop, apps, windows10 scaling, etc.
Right now can only look via youtube videos. sad.gif

For scaling, I suggest you compare to your current setup's dpi value. If the value don't really differ much from your setup, then it should be fine. Else you'll need to "get used" to it. Testing for a few minutes in the shop wouldn't be good enough. It's like how you wanna try a new mouse and you think it's OK at the shop but then after using it at home with your current sitting, placement, distance, height, you'll really feel it then how much different it is compared to at the shop

Also don't even mention windows scaling feature. That function still socks imo

Why don't you try 5k monitor? hmm.gif Just go to the machines or macstudio then just look for iMac 27-inch 2017 model. Definitely Radeon Pro 570 with 4GB of VRAM graphic card capable can handle 5120x2880 resolution with support for one billion colours. brows.gif
