Yeap true.. Some country like Germany, Japan can fund your study provided the research is written in their language biggrin.gif

Not really, a lot of the universities know that graduate studies tend to attract an internationl audience, and the working languages in science is English. The one i posted above doesn't require German for work, but knowing some German helps in daily life.

Ah what I mean here is strictly for research and not working..

The condition is to prepare 2 type of research, in English and Germany in order to get free funding thumbup.gif

By work, I mean "research". I find it funny to call doing research as "study", which is what graduate students will be doing. There are quite a lot of funding for graduate studies, in Science, where the language used on daily basis at the university/research institute (work) is in English. This is to cater for the international PhDs, postdocs, research group leaders etc. And applying for funding is also usually English, unless you're applying for a country specific or company specific funding.
