Pakistan Army and Anti-Tank Guided Missiles

Doctrine of Offensive-Defense

The Pakistan Army (PA) strategy against India calls for 'offensive-defense', also known as the Strategy of Riposte. This strategy calls for the armor heavy Strike Corps of Pakistan Army to seize initiative and attack across a narrow front. This is aimed at both unhinging Indian offensive plans in other sectors as well as seizing territory for later bargaining at the negotiating table. The holding Corps of the Pakistan Army are expected to absorb and delay the Indian offensive. And while the armor divisions are concentrated in the Strike Corps, holding corps have also evolved Corps Reserves centered around independent armor brigades and mechanized brigades for countering Indian offensive as well as for counter-penetratio

Interesting read about Egypt Air Force Rafale and the non support of F16.

The US had continually rejected Egyptian requests for current generation air to air missiles, precision munitions, and air superiority fighters.

While the EAF does get a great deal of value out of its F-16s they do feel that it has been neutered to some extent.

The US Army is the largest operator of the Apache.

If it is being rejected by the US Army, there is a high chance that the TNI-AU AH64E is in the same batch.

Yeah, TNI-AD.

The issue here is if is a deep maintenance repair, the Apache will need to be sent back to Boeing USA.

QUOTE(azriel @ May 2 2018, 07:57 AM)
Well if its in the same batch then its Boeing responsibility to fixed the problem and replaced the faulty nuts as to ensure the safety of the crew and the airworthiness of the helicopter they are selling to the US and International customers. Boeing test pilots and technician are still in Indonesia for fight test of the newly arrived AH-64Es. Iam sure they are aware of the problem.

I was actually referring to a comment that you cannot simply just give someone else series production line and instead given rejected ones just because you want it faster.

Btw the Indonesian AH-64E operator is TNI-AD.
