I'm talking about the plainclothes officer putting the handcuffs on the suspect. Shouldn't one of the guys with the body armor be the one doing that? The suspect could have a knife or something sharp hidden away and would have the opportunity to cause some damage. Body armour will not stop a knife.

QUOTE(DeFaeco @ Jan 25 2018, 02:54 PM) Pretty sure them tactical teams rock plate carriers. Not exactly 100% stab proof but still better than without a vest no? Given the amount of gaps in your average plate carrier if I were going up against someone with a knife I wouldn't trade the mobility. Plus they're probably using soft panels, those vests don't look like they're sporting hard panels.

QUOTE(KLboy92 @ May 11 2018, 05:31 PM) UHHHHHH Firearms safety people come in please... but that looks like a really bad idea If there's no mag, the chamber is clear and the bolt locked back there's no real issue. I eyeball the bore to ensure it's clean and to check for pitting. You can't check from the chamber end unless the barrel comes out of the receiver.
