QUOTE(patt_sue @ Sep 15 2017, 01:44 AM) Is najib visiting dsei? kek i was wrongBtw, Deftech has signed a contract with tda armement in dsei... 120mm mortar for gempita. still, to go for nemo instead of regular 120mm mortar like in adnan is really good news. Having more 120mm mortar carrier is good enuf but to have a turreted mortar is really icing on cake |

QUOTE(KLboy92 @ Sep 15 2017, 02:51 AM) Dono WTF you gonna expect to hit with it Naval mount require lots of stabilisation, unless it is included in the containerised unit, the shots will fly all over the place it has been done on even smaller vessel, so can assume the turret has at least 2.5d stabilization, just that this version got deck penetration but they oso offer container version which is perfect on lms which really lack some heavy punch Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(cunnilinguist @ Oct 7 2017, 11:40 PM) btw i always think how powderful it will be if modern advancement (metallurgy, fcs, electronics) could be applied to these big gunsokay maybe not 240mm gun but it's totally could be done on 203mm gun like M110 or 2s7. imagine this sph but with longer, lighter gun, better chassis with improved engine and suspension and fcs that could enable it to fire up to 3 rds/min Attached thumbnail(s) |

if we're looking beyond 4.5 gen aircraft, what choice we have? F-35 isn't actually suits our need and kfx isnt a true 5th gen aircraft. even the supposed japan-uk 5th gen programme isn't likely to materialize any time soon
J-20? Pak-fa? |

See this typical BS crap they're pulling on defence assets - source. Heard of the missing engine case? That just reinforces what's written above. |

QUOTE(Fat & Fluffy @ Nov 6 2017, 04:13 PM) Malaysian terrorist is new 'emir' in South-east Asia bukan beliau dh mampus ke? Sabahan Mohammad Amin Baco has had a long experience in fighting a guerilla war. He is also adept at making bombs, a knowledge he has passed on to many recruits.MANILA - A top Malaysian terrorist with long combat experience in the war-torn southern Philippine island of Mindanao is the new "emir" of the ultra-radical Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in South-east Asia, the Philippines' police chief said on Monday (Nov 6). Sabahan Mohammad Amin Baco, 31, replaced Isnilon Hapilon, 51, who was killed as the five-months-long conflict between Philippine troops and Muslim militants for Marawi city in Mindanao, drew to a close. ![]() "Amin Baco is now the leader, not just of the remaining Maute but as emir of South-east Asia ISIS," Director-General Ronald de la Rosa told reporters, referring to the group that supplied the bulk of fighters who stormed Marawi on May 23. Deputy Director-General Rolando Mendez said Baco is "one of the most experienced terrorists" in the Philippines, plotting attacks and providing combat training to local militants for years. Baco was an operative of the Malaysia-based terror group Jemaah Islamiyah. Intelligence sources said he was trained by fellow Malaysian Zulkifli bin Hir, alias Marwan, who was one of the world's most wanted terrorists when he was killed in a police raid two years ago. Baco was staying near Marwan's remote hideout in Mamasapano town in Mindanao during the raid, but he eluded arrest, said Mr Mendez. Security officials said Baco took part in the Marawi attack, but they could not ascertain whether he managed to flee or is leading dozens of stragglers still inside the city. Mr De la Rosa said most of the new information about Baco was provided by Muhammad Ilham Syahputra, an Indonesian militant nabbed in Marawi last week. Security expert Rommel Banlaoi said Baco presents a bigger threat than Hapilon or Mahmud Ahmad, a former Malaysian university lecturer who was Hapilon's No 2 but was also killed in Marawi. ![]() Mahmud was regarded more as an ideologue and organiser than a battlefield commander. Baco, on the other hand, has had a long experience in fighting a guerilla war. He is also adept at making bombs, a knowledge he has passed on to many recruits. Besides Baco, security forces are also hunting for 42-year-old Malaysian municipal council worker Muhammad Joraimee Awang Raimee and an Indonesian known only as Qayyim. http://www.dailyexpress.com.my/news.cfm?NewsID=120943 really kenot brain la flip military. one guy say this and another guy say dat... |

QUOTE(MilitaryMadness @ Nov 19 2017, 02:56 PM) They were airborne for 6+ hours trying to burn fuel b4 attempting a belly landing. We will have to assume the crew did everything conceivable during the time to try to deploy the landing gear. Heck i bet somene even called Lockheed Martin to try to find out how to solve the problem. why have to call lockmart? all the checks (a, b, c and even d checks) is done by airodOr perhaps are u insinuating otherwise? Maybe if all-knowing person such as u would save the day instead of those trained & experienced aircrew (who are actually onboard). |
