QUOTE(anxious @ Mar 6 2018, 11:55 PM) I’m also in the market for 65inch TV. UHD is about RM5k Super/Premium UHD RM8k LG 65sj850t vs Samsung UA65MU7000 vs Sony X8500e OLED is RM14k and out of my budget. Haven’t decided but with models being replaced now, they should be clearing stock now. I understand prices may drop in April/May when new models hit our shores (in time for the World Cup). I would think you would be able to get UHD for RM4.5k and SUHD for RM7k soon. Any comments or suggestions. Thks hummm... I really want to get one UHD this month..Would the price dropped really low?

I would recommend the Sony X7000E & Hisense M5010. The downside of these 2 models are that the WCG is only for HDR. For a bit higher around RM5k you can get the Panasonic EX600 which I think has proper WCG but I don't know for sure because specs are sketchy. For a mid-level 65" UHD, prices are still around RM8k+ which I think is a bit too high, so better to wait a few more months for prices to come down. RM6-7k is a more reasonable price point IMHO.

QUOTE(darenlks @ Mar 7 2018, 10:49 AM) Seems like a good deal for this mid to high end Sony model ? Sony 65X8500EBased on the details and the warranty of 3 years, I think this is not exactly the X85E, its most likely the commercial variant which has a different model code. Don't know whether the specs are similar to the X85E. There is a seller at Garage Sale selling these at an even cheaper price.
