I managed to get 65" Sony 8500E for RM6099 from Harvey Norman.
Price difference between 7000E and 8500E is about RM2k. I hope its worth the RM2k extra I paid for 8500e. Delivery expected on Tuesday. |

QUOTE(anxious @ Jun 11 2018, 12:42 AM) I managed to get 65" Sony 8500E for RM6099 from Harvey Norman. worth, the 7000e is a basic 4k tv. for the price difference you pay you get two main features in which the 7000e doesnt have. 1) X1 HDR chip, for 4k upscaling ans 2) Tri-Luminos Display, or wider colour gamut. Price difference between 7000E and 8500E is about RM2k. I hope its worth the RM2k extra I paid for 8500e. Delivery expected on Tuesday. A lot of shops have these two models put side by side, you will see the difference, especially clear blue skies and lush greens |

Seating distance is about 9 feet. But it feels a bit of a stain to the eyes esp on HD channels esp moving fro. A 46 inch tv which I had for 6 years.
Just wondering whether I should hv go e for a 55 inch instead. Hopefully I will get used to it |

QUOTE(Convael @ Jun 7 2018, 10:19 AM) I was at their TV conference. I must say the Q9fn blow me away , despite owning an OLED . The colors just look so damn good . Still can't find OLED black. I think QLED is to cheat people and confuse people.Just from my bare eyes alone , I couldn't actually tell if it is an OLED or LED, it was very very bright as well , never seen a TV so bright before especially around the edge My only problem with it , is the black crushing was a little strong , probably due to the Ultra Aggressive FALD , when they switched over to those small sparkling light dots , they become quite dim at times . |
