Dear Ktards,

I am fedup with webe already. The service is damn funny.

Went shopping yesterday at KL. No service, damn hard to call my wife at Jalan TAR. Thinking of jumping telco.

I work mainly around KL, Putrajaya, N9 and Melaka.

Roughly use around 10gb (if damn malas + wifi) - 20gb (if no wifi. use a lot of chrome to read mangapark) per month.

Thank you.

DiGi, I also thinking to change, LTE 4 bar but can't even load FB videos properly, Youtube don't say lah, 240p also buffering like hell!

Almost 4 months like this already, complaint to their CS and they told me to screenshot Speedtest 3 times/day, in the morning, afternoon and night and send it to their email. Like I don't have anything else to do?

If only DiGi Infinite can share the quota among the sub lines, I'll be the first to ditch this Webe.

using umobile P70 right now :

1. data wise no problem (KL area) and light usage is good (4G full bar indoor can get u like 100kb-5MB download) not consistent
2. network coverage so-so but can be frustrated at certain area especially north places like perak, penang, kedah
3. not really good speed inside public transport(bus/train/highway)
4. data add-on is expensive
5. use paid mangarock app in android and ios for auto download favourite manga
conclusion,go back to maxis

Actually there is no best....it all depends on the area you are at.

In general, Celcom, Maxis, Digi...every one of those has its pros and cons.

If you are really concerned, then buy a prepaid for a month and try it out.

You've used Celcom anda not happy with it.
And now you're contemplating between uMobile and Maxis?
I've used all three, and if coverage is your priority, no way Maxis can beat Celcom, let alone uMobile.

Its not unhappy per se. I jumped becos of unlimited data in the 1st place. Whereaz celcom data depletes almost instantly. Used celcom gold before. Took me two weeks to finish the allocated data. So need to constantly topup. My bill was close to 300 almost every month.

Maxis is quite ok. Speed is damn fast. But at a pricier cost. Thats why contemplating

Umobile becos one guy just now mentioned U78 to me. The speed cap is 5mbps. I noob. Dunno 5mbps is ok or not. Becos webe is max i get around 1-2 mbps only.

Try prepaid first lah bro. If coverage and speed is good, then check for the best plan either stick with prepaid or postpaid for u to use based on your data usage.

bro,

try change your setting. If using 2 sims, may be the default setting for your phone is only 2G.
If 1 sim phone, try chat with webe chat team in their website

I've been using webe now, from Meru, Kapar to KL, all the way 4G.
Back to Kelantan also 4G most of the time.

FYI, webe has their own network now, not tumpang2 anymore.

this is what my friend who work in webe told me lah

Between U Mobile and Digi,

I choose DIGI anytime.

I'm currently use U Mobile, previously use Digi before this.

Sorry to say, but U Mobile is TRASH. My area line 4G but it is slow like a snail.
And can you believe in Damansara also the internet connection is slow like fark.

I've using Digi before this, and I have no problem getting 4G access at Damansara, Klang and Shah Alam, Setia Alam.

U Mobile is the worst telco compared to Maxis, Celcom and Digi.

I won't recommend U Mobile to you.

What phone you are using?
Maybe it is not suitable for Webe.
Have you check the network bands supported by your phone?

Dear Ktards,

I am fedup with webe already. The service is damn funny.

Went shopping yesterday at KL. No service, damn hard to call my wife at Jalan TAR. Thinking of jumping telco.

I work mainly around KL, Putrajaya, N9 and Melaka.

Roughly use around 10gb (if damn malas + wifi) - 20gb (if no wifi. use a lot of chrome to read mangapark) per month.

Thank you.

I’m using Iphone and so far WEBE is okay for my usage.
Of course, speed are very slow at certain place but are very fast at most town center. I even get 55mbps at certain place in Seremban but my average speed at most place is about 5mbps.
Up to today (13Sep2017), for Iphone user, WEBE still does not support FACETIME activation with phone number, but activation with Apple ID is okay.
Here’s my fastest speed with WEBE:

Celcom the best for me so far.
Migrated to Umobile for awhile this year, sucks, back to Celcom and happy. First Gold Plus Rm98, 40Gb /mth plus free Yonder use. Awesome. I move regularly within KL, Shah Alam, Kelantan, Terengganu. All good 4G speed and coverage.

If you're opting for maxis you have to know that the 20GB is not general internet. Its 10 GB + 10 GB, meaning that you have 10GB for the whole month, and 10GB for weekends, which I usually dont finish. But my main 10GB always left about 500MB, cause before refresh I will spam kao my internet. hahaha.. Im also using digi postpaid u28, so far coverage is good. But at my work place, around atria area sometimes no line. LOL.

Maxis for Premium Expensive with smooth experience.

Digi for great offer with reasonable coverage.

Umobile is unreliable with Fantastic offering.

I could not agree more. Since govt already urged or sharing infrastructure, the coverage probably more or less the same. Otherwise, Celcom probably has the most complete wireless network because the original agreement with govt was not only providing service in profitable area (like how Maxis started doing business and perhaps still laugh.gif )

At same price, Digi only 5mbps while Webe is way more than that. Digi is bad.

Webe is triple the speed of Digi at RM80. Digi is unusable at 5mbps.

Digi line is cheap but coverage still not as wide as maxis and celcom
Digi speed also not stable as I can see recently a lot complain not able to get high speed as before and some even getting turtle speed under 4G
Maxis and celcom both are wide in coverage but maxis slightly win in term of speed and 4G coverage .
How ever celcom are cheaper compare to maxis as they offer more data as same price range

You are right. Webe is not meant for you. And you are right that Digi is slow compared to Webe.
