Guys.. thinking to change my halogen H7 into LED H7. Plug and Play. Cost is around Rm250.
Any idea? Does this work well with the original reflector? Will glare other road users? This post has been edited by jfcheong: Mar 6 2018, 02:24 PM |

I bought these H1 and H7 LED Bulbs:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/AcooSun-H4-...2311.0.0.r5SXbD https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Slim-CSP-LE...2311.0.0.l8zr1s their prices fluctuate between USD18.00 to USD 22.00. These bulbs are shorter in length than most other models because of the fan and heatsink design, I also bought aftermarket dust covers here that can fit the whole LED bulb inside. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/FangNymph-2...2311.0.0.l8zr1s This post has been edited by alphaz: Mar 6 2018, 02:35 PM |

Around 1 year plus I need to change. So thinking to change LED for better reliability. I got limited knowledge on LED bulb, first time changing, so prefer go to local shop for their service and 1 year warranty. How does LED bulb work with the original reflector, does it glare other road user? |

I don't see your post anywhere in this thread, I was responding to a couple posters here who were looking for H7. Those bulbs are Canbus ready, you can read the feedbacks from the Russians who use Conti cars they don't have any issues. They offer H4/9003/HB2 Hi/Lo so yes they support high low beam. Did you visit the link? It's all there... This post has been edited by alphaz: Mar 6 2018, 04:47 PM |

from my observation those LED headlight even from the german marque looks a bit whiter than 4300K HID. I'd assume a minimum 6000K or even 6500K. yes, 4000-4300K is the best balance between white and yellow from HID. been using HID for almost 15 years and I still prefer to use HID

QUOTE(takax2040 @ Mar 6 2018, 12:17 PM) Maybe they are out of stock. Mine is H7 5000K which give me close to pure white with some yellowish. Is way brighter than halogen does. And I've been thru lots of roadblocks at night be it JPJ, police and police traffic. no issue |

QUOTE(amdxp @ Mar 6 2018, 04:05 PM) Oh, my apology it was on another thread about LED H4 Sorry Oh that thread. From my survey H4 is very common, on the other hand H7 occasionally out of stock or not offered.https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=4522544&hl=led QUOTE(eddyann @ Mar 7 2018, 08:52 AM) I'm using from the standard of the car. 1998 year made. i think this is one of the earliest car got HID as a standard. I had considered HID but my car headlight type is reflector, I don't want to risk blinding other drivers. |

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Mar 7 2018, 10:22 AM) But 6500K get lots of attention during road block and it's the worst visibility during rain. Mine @ 5000K still okay. LED work the best during dry road at night and total darkness to view its full potential. |

Just installed H7 LED bulb on my ride. Trio color, which mean can change the color temperature: 4300k, 5000k and 6000k.
Loving it |
