those files with blue fonts are compressed files by Windows. can't change it back. Windows compressed old files that are haven't been used for a long time to save HDD space. 

notepal W1(3 fan) is around rm150 - for 15.4 inch
another small notepal(2 fan) is around rm 100 for 14 inch
Dont think so if the dell pc can use windows defrag cause the dell hidden partition disable that unless u full format and delete the recovery partition

what do you mean by "good" hdd?
notebook size hdd, 2.5", is now available in 160gb in the market, cost a bit expensive though. for desktop size, 3.5", you have to get a casing for the hdd.
its all up to the individual's preference.

get 3.5 lar..u wont regret..if u dont move too much the hdd..coz bigger size.

from wat i knw sata 2.5 hdd casing is more expensive...ya u can just plug n play.
but no point u buy sata 2.5 hdd coz u need to buy sata external case which is more exp...
u knw usb2.0 hi-speed only 480Mbits rite? it cant even match the pata speed..

i would suggest a pata 5400rpm. main purpose is to store data only right? a 2.5" casing is not that expensive. get good ones, for eg the vantec one cost about rm50-ish. my college mate bought a 120gb with vantec, rm300. i'm not sure about cooler master though. anyway, u can check the pdf price lists to get the latest price.

andrew...there's no void sticker in our dell 6400...so yes...u can replace other hardisk which hv higher capacity...just keep the old 1...later if wanna claim warranty....put the old one bck...
