Hi I got my 6400 from pc fair. Just arrived on last thursday

2GB DDR2 SDRAM
120GB SATA Hard Drive
256MB ATI Mobility(tm) Radeon(R) X1400 Hypermemory
all for RM3448

Can play stalker, c&c3, Still havent try supreme commander

I didnt subscribe for 3 yr cc warranty. Just now see dell website.... aihhh... so mahal one....dunno can discount or not since I just bought from pc fair?

Yahoo.... just upgraded to 3 yr cc. Same price with pc fair........

Can my 6400 gc x1400 upgrade to 8600gt?
So tempting to change

I called the customer service just now. He say currently cannot upgrade or replace coz the pricing in its system not out yet. He ask for my service tag, I dont have it now. He ask me to email him my service tag and he will get to me as soon as possible. I will post up the answer later.

Bad news..... I just receive the email from dell...... This is the reply :

The maximum upgrade for your machine is NJ887 - 256MB NVidia (G72) for I6400 with Hypermemory.

Yup.... so sad..... I so eager wan to up my graphic card. They turn me down. I just bought 2 months ago.

Hope Dell can do something about it.

Some noob question I want to ask. I wanted to buy a sata hdd to install window xp as some of my program are incompatable with vista. Will my 6400 detect my new hdd?

I ask already lar...... cannot. Buy Asus XG external gc. play any game no problem

I think your notebook got manufacturing defect. Mine ok , I overnight no problem. Do call te service center
