Did you try other usb port ?? Maybe one of te usb port is mulfunctioning. Or what OS u are using. But think vista should be compatible with all the usb mouse though.

Mine 6400 is ady one year one month.. and sob.... the temp keep on rising.. on idle its around 60 - 65. And when i go on full speed. Its 74 degree.
And Im using Coolermaster notepal W1 and in air conditioning room. Think the heatsink is full of dust and think its time to change the thermalpaste.
Shouldnt be a problem rite if we open the laptop and clean up the heat sink and apply new thermal paste.
Usually does that to desktop but laptop.. No exp yet. lol

Sob... Today I realised that my laptop screen have dead pixel.. One big red line from top to the bottom of the screen. Wonder how many dead pixel is that.. As its stretch from the top of the screen to the bottom.. One line only.
My spec is
T2300, 512MB DDR 667mhz x 2, Ati X1400, 1680 x 1050 resolution screen, 80gb hdd.
Should I ask for warranty today. Very sad now

QUOTE(Eisenmeteor @ Jun 23 2007, 12:35 PM) I called the Dell lady and she said she can ask an engineer to come and remove the parts thus taking out the MMC card for me but she said if there's anything wrong after that, she'll have to quote me..So wat should i do bout this? Erm.. I stuck my mmc card in the laptop when I was playing with my camera mmc card on it and i use hair pin to take it out.. Erm.. did u buy complete warranty ?? and do u still have the warranty left. If yes .. they shouldnt charge u anything what. If not if i still got the warranty.. I use a hammer to smash it and take out the mmc card and tell them.. oh.. i drop my laptop from 4th floor to 1st floor and it hit a pole.. lol but before u do that ... backup all ur file first.. Hehe.. (Evil way)

So sad.. Hope that this thread will still live on..
Been with my 6400 for one year and 5 months now and I can say it still serve me well although I've change my mobo , screen before and I salute dell for making my buy worthwhile. lol.
Just wanna ask... anyone had problem when they are connected to the net. And if u just plug off the lan. Will your laptop hang ?? Cz mine did and that happen since i got my lappie. As ppl say its weird. lol

Erm.. then it should be ok ady. How bout lets try Omega driver. Im currently using it and it works fine with me. http://www.omegadrivers.net/Oops.. Before that can you right click at desktop. check whether u have ati catalyst. If yes click on it and open and try to adjust the resolution there. See whether it works or not. Hope it helps this time. This post has been edited by Tsukasa: Sep 2 2007, 04:44 PM
