dling now...i got my laptop today..is the cd come with the latest driver?
for the wireless...when i install the driver, the installation just run then suddenly close on its own...

as for my blue tooth....cannot find adapter...need to install again

thts my spec,.....i got it during pc fair..

hey last nite i manage to get my wireless to work ady..

apparently i need to install blue(1st) which i didnt install..
then my wireless network can use ady.
i find that the graphic card abit misleading..the ati not really have 256 memory, it is the shared memory.dammit~!

but overally the laptop is ok...
my price: 120G,2x1G RAM,ATi1400, truelife,1.7GHz,aero somemore.etc tec

by the way omega didnt release for vista yet rite?

actually i buy it after pc fair...call the sales n ask them for cheaper price..
she agree then i m happy lor.
so this is not a refub set. hehehehe...
sometime it is cheaper if u call them to give discount.
my case i ask them if i still can get pc fair price...then she said ok.
about true life...erm..i think better dont buy it..
coz it is very glare ler..u actually can make it a mirror..swt.
all i can say rm3555 is a good price..

forget to add i also get myself the carbon fiber kits too...lol damn...rm3555 kinda good~!

by the way i think today wanna install xp ady....i dont see aero better...

i heard xp didnt utilise the dual core?
issit true? any patch for it?

solve your bluetooth ady?

just incase u didnt notice..
when you go to your bluetooth device prop
you shud be able to see the driver.
if u unable to see the driver it mean u havent install it.

u can find the driver in your dell cd...try to look at all version.
by default when you boot the cd it wont show the blue tooth driver.
or, u can dl from the 1st page

by the way, just installed xp...the result is superb!
os run damn smooth..

i think i will stick with xp...vista is too lame.

just incase the bt not working...

go to win32 folder under the BT extract file then look for inst.exe just install it.

jjust call dell...rupa2nye dell 355 bluetooth does not support winxp..so dont bother to install.

i think they use the 350 version...
they tech guy did told me..
anyone can teach me how to if they manage to install n detect the device!?on xp of course+355 bluetooth+edg

i shud knw it better....i shud not trust and "on the phone technician"~!
today i go n see the xp config..they also using the 355~!
ba stard staff~!

i think i try to install the dell quick set 1st as suggested by some user.

by the way, what is quick set for...

1st u customize your setting on the dell website...
then u click next..to send a copy to your self...
once the email arrive u call SA...
u email then the spec...
see how much they can offer u ...
if possible ask for more thing/discount...be greedy!

keep in mind tht sometime they cant offer much lower bcoz the laptop price is ady under the cost price(esp during pc fair/the xmas season/ etc etc).

i don not plug my battery when i used adapter...
unless for charging purposes.

from what is read..i notice the laptop heat actually will kill the battery.
