dell supposed to collect my cheque today! just now got ppl call me using 016.. think its them..but i was away, called but no1 answer..lol damm

well finally the guy who is reponsible to come n take my cheque is here. but boy was it a nightmare. so here's what happened:

2 plus the person called me say will come to my house before 5. i told her to call me when u r coming. then, my mom ask me 2 go 2 bank around 3 and so i went. then suddenly at around 3.15 my sis called me say some1 came to receive cheque. i didnt tell her anything cause she's still small. then no choice i have to rush back from bank.

i reached home around 3.45 and saw the guy with his motorbike outside my house. i said sorry and gave him the cheque. then i was suprised that when i ask for receipt as prove that i already gave the cheque he said dont have. i mean like wtf? this is my money man.. how can i trust 1 person who came with a normal t-shirt with a motorcycle? then I asked him to wait and i called the person who called me earlier and she say memang no receipt. no choice lor have to give u lor. then when i give that time he some more say: kalau tak caya tak payahla kasi.. i kenot say anything la..i just say sori sori then he go..now think back like wana fark him nicely!

i wrote to dell asia pacific sdn.

yeah i will call n complain tmr.. but then now oso dono my cheque will reach their hand onot..! btw this is just a company representing dell to collect cheques.. not dell itself

i definately will do so. thanks for the email, make things easier for me to complain. i hope i can get a free laptop or some freebies! muahahah. but i'll complain only after dell acknowledged that they received my cheque, i scared later complain the company purposely do something to my cheque

anyway thanks for all your supports, i'll complain n hope this terrible incident won't happen again.

i believe that cable has to be bought. it is also available in dell. i ordered it together with my laptop. costs me around rm11

btw just to let u guys know i just sent a complaint to simon_wong@dell.com regarding my situation. hope the runner kena kao kao! hope i get some freebies haha. any1 got experience b4? complain bout some matter and get freebies or discounts?

anyway want to ask..laptop got insurance wan or not? if lost or what can claim? what if like i drop the laptop and spoil? can send in for warranty?

if my warranty period is over and i dont plan to extend it, then when something happened to my laptop how? send to pc shops? do they know how to repair a dell laptop?

just got my 6400 this afternoon... using it for 1 hour and start getting giddy cause of the reflections from truelife lcd lol.

anyway my case few pages back has been settled. dell person call me few times to apologize

well i bought the 3rd cable...rm11.. but so far try on my tv also kenot work..dont know why.. anyway my tv have yellow, white and red cables but the dell tvout cable only have red, black, green and one more forgotten.

any1 know if this is the rigth cable to connect my laptop to tv?

guys, u know the media direct button with a home logo on it (its almost at the top left if u guys don't know), anyway mine is not working. when i press it nothing appears, what bout u guy's button?
