because if there is any failure or burn, they will replace a new ram for free within warranty period.
If u use any external ram and cause that ram slot to burn, spoil etc... dell will no be liable for the failure.

Is there such thing as Laptop Wifi does not work with some router?

I recently change router to Planex brand. Everyone in my house are able to use it without any problem except me using 6400.

I can detect the wireless and connect to it. After connect using wireless, skype, msn can not connect. For my firefox, i only can surf local website like the star, low yat. International site like yahoo, microsoft, all can not connect.
I can only use it normally if i connect using cable direct from router.

I have try repair the wireless, flush dns etc. still can not work except when i plugin the cable.

i think it depends on how we use the battery if we keep charging it, sure wear lvl will be higher.

yup. that's what i'm worried about. later bought for few hundred bucks dy laptop laggy can't support. anyway..although 2GB RAM is recommended, is 1GB sufficient enough?  blink.gif

the remote looks nice. is it available in malaysia? some of our laptop comes with bluetooth rite? smile.gif

EDIT : i tink the remote needs laptop with IR port. our 6400 doesn't have it.
*
1gb is the min requirement for vista so u shouldnt have any problem. thumbup.gif

Yes, the remote is available in malaysia. It comes free with the new purchase of inspiron.
that the IR port, thats what i'm afraid of. Most of us have buildin bluetooth but no IR. I never saw inspiron comes with IR. cry.gif
