On my way Senior Member 528 posts Joined: Dec 2006	get 3.5 lar..u wont regret..if u dont move too much the hdd..coz bigger size. if u always bring here n there..get 120G HDD..2.5inch coz it is smaller. HDD always stick with the normal one..WESD,Seagate,Hitachi. Hitachi abit hard to find malaysia.. if got money..buy raptor! hehehe... actuallty who is steven? he work for dell isit?

On my way Senior Member 528 posts Joined: Dec 2006	maybe can mention to mr simon the the laptop outlook design n built quality need to improve...i do feel the laptop very fragile.. triangle, from wat i knw sata 2.5 hdd casing is more expensive...ya u can just plug n play. but no point u buy sata 2.5 hdd coz u need to buy sata external case which is more exp... u knw usb2.0 hi-speed only 480Mbits rite? it cant even match the pata speed.. but if u ady buy sata 2.5hdd then u have to buy those have sata ext case lor.

On my way Senior Member 528 posts Joined: Dec 2006	laptop heat will kill your battery life span...so better take out.. by the way now used to truelife ady...need to used it under the dime condition then only look nicer... the screen actually look better compare to normal one.... then again cannot use if the room is too bright... but is there anyway to counter this? i heard got lcd sticker for this? anyone using the sticker? currently, my laptop is running at 58-64c(for cpu), 44-46c for hdd is this normal? Added on May 8, 2007, 12:11 pmi cant see my laptop display(true life) on bright condition!!!! this truelife suppose to be anti reflective isnt it? is ask for change on LCD will they refund me? Last year 1st of May , i accidentally dropped it ....not purposely 1 ....coz juz broke up wif gf... and then 2nd i emailed them and they replied me very fast .... They asked me which area broke , LCD got broken or now , basically juz asked how serious of my dropped... 3rd day , a technician come to my house and take the whole notebook back to Alor Star service center to replaced every part that spoiled except HDD coz of privacy ..LCD replaced , Mobo, processor , modem , palm rest area , LCD hinge ...basically the whole notebook replaced... Not to mentioned , they also replaced a new casing for me ...basically it is a new notebook....juz the Windows and Intel Sticker not provided only... so very happy , it looks like new... after 2months++ , BIG Problems occurred . hard to boot in and 20times boot in , 2times successful...changed mobo and ram for 2times and cannot solved...Wanted to take back to service center but i not allowed them to do so , assignment time .... Email them and asked for temporary replacement notebook for my uni purposes...response within 2 days , and promised me a new REPLACEMENT notebook wil be arriving in 1week time... Phone me after 3days later and told me my old model Inspiron 6000 not in production nemore... Asked my permission for new CoreDuo 6400 to replaced 6000(centrino mobile) after 2 weeks , everything settled..... Added on April 14, 2007, 12:19 amtired explaining the same thing for the past 4th thread.....haha [/quote] just wondering, when dell change your laptop from centrino6000 to CoreDuo6400 how much they ask u to top up? if now i want to upgrade my 1 year basic cover how much need to top up?
